Huawei IASC - Iraq

Salahaddin University-Erbil (SUE) Huawei Iraq held a dynamic workshop in the SUE Cultural Center on 23 June 2025. The workshop focused on how to further engage college students to get enrolled to Huawei ICT courses, encourage Huawei ICT academies to launch new course, and how to support students to participate in Huawei ICT exams and get them prepared for the regional and international ICT competitions. The workshop brought together a number of the academic faculty and non-academic staff members, who work with the Huawei ICT centers across the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

On Tuesday, 15 April 2025, the staff of SUE Huawei ICT Academy in Erbil presented an overview of the Huawei ICT Academy and its benefits to the freshman (year one) students of the College of Engineering/Software Department and discussed how they can create an account on the ICT academy website to get enrolled to further their knowledge in ICT courses. The students actively engaged with the staff and enjoyed the topics related to the Huawei national and global ICT competitions, whereas they can achieve academic goals and skills that will benefit their careers in future.

Registration for Huawei ICT practice competition is open now. Huawei ICT competition 2024-2025 which is an international level competition that has many fetors such as:
1- Free participation in Huawei’s test
2- The students who pass to national level will receive the certificate of participation, Obtaining the certificate will serve as a point of strengthening your CV in the future.
3- Students who get the first 6 ranks in the Huawei exam will be honored with gifts by Huawei
Note/ the enrollment in the Huawei ICT competition does not require a previse enrollment in any of Huawei courses or owning any certificate from the company of Huawei, the participation is public and for all. Huawei ICT Competition 2024-2025 registration:
