On October 28, 2024, Dr.Dawood Atrushi the head of the University of Duhok, visited the science department and met with students from the UoD_ACS chapter to discuss their work and offer his support.

Thank you very much, Dr.Dawood Atrushi, for your continued encouragement-we truly appreciate it.

The UoD_ACS chapter was founded in 2022 by Dr. Suhad Yasin with an initial group of six students. Since then, membership has grown to over 50 members

With heartfelt gratitude, we extend special thanks to Dr.Mohammed Ibrahem , Dean of the College of Science, and Dr.Soleen saaid , Head of the Chemistry Department, for their unwavering support and encouragement.
