1) Aquatic Animal Health Veterinarian
Veterinarian specialized in Fish and shrimp diseases. Preference will be for those with Master or PhD degrees in the area for a full time position in a project located at the Farm Operations level of the various freshwater farms, marine finfish or shrimp farms in Saudi Arabia.
This candidate must have the demonstrated ability to supervise and lead while at the same time function as a member of the team. The person chosen for this position must be able to work with government sector and other private farm locations as required.

Job Description& Essential Functions:
Responsibilities:
• Working among a team of aquatic animal health experts on biosecurity project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Observing animal behavior, collecting sick or routine samples, executing biosecurity plans, and diagnosis of different diseases.
• Examining animal tissues and fluids, performing biopsies or necropsies, determining the cause of disease through observation and laboratory analysis, utilizing microscopes and other specialized pieces of laboratory equipment, and advising veterinarians in the field about the diseases they detect in sample tissues or fluids.
• Chosen candidates may also contribute to the development of control measures for aquatic animals, conduct scientific research studies, and advise managers as to the spread and progression of various animal diseases that may affect herd health.
• Manage employees with integrity, fairness and awareness of overall project purpose.
• Train and supervise team members in the proper techniques of aquatic animal health, and all fish or shellfish husbandry diseases diagnosis.
• Work with the farm management to schedule and monitor all activities related to all biosecurity activities within the farm.
• Schedule and assign team members to ensure all the project work scheduled, is completed.
• Coordinate and participate in all biosecurity activities.
• Responsible for & supervise all biosecurity activities within farms including, disinfection, cleaning, sampling, fish examination, transportation…etc.
• Maintain accurate and complete hatchery records.
• Perform miscellaneous Duties as assigned.
• Communicate and Work as a Team Member.
• Participate in some discussion about confidential/sensitive matters.
• Communicate with employees and others through written, oral and face-to-face interactions.
• Work with other team members to assure completion of work.
• Communicate with fellow employees to complete tasks and adhere to safety standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine from an Accredited University with 5 years of working with fish, shellfish or crustaceans diseases diagnosis either in the farm or labs. Or Master with 3 year’s work experience in the same field. PhD with experience will have preference.
Computer knowledge, record keeping and organizational skills are required.

2) Aquaculture Specialist
Full time position in a project located at the Farm Operations level of the various freshwater farms, marine finfish or shrimp farms in Saudi Arabia.
This person must have the demonstrated ability to supervise and lead while at the same time function as a member of the team. The person chosen for this position must be able to work with government sector and other private farm locations as required.
The successful applicant should possess exceptional communication skills, be experienced in fish and shellfish husbandry and have good math, record keeping skills.
Essential Functions:
Responsibilities
• Manage employees with integrity, fairness and awareness of overall project purpose.
• Responsible for all life stages of fish or shellfish from eggs to food fish in a production settings.
• Train and supervise team members in the proper techniques of aquatic animal handling, grading, movement, pond inventory and sampling, fish or shellfish transportation, and all other fish or shellfish husbandry activities.
• Work with the farm management to schedule and monitor all activities related to all biosecurity activities within the farm.
• Schedule and assign team members to ensure all the project work scheduled, is completed.
• Coordinate and participate in all biosecurity activities.
• Understand feed sheets, movement records, pond histories, and become proficient with the hatchery database program.
• Responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, and repair of all hatchery ponds, buildings, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate and complete hatchery records.
• Perform miscellaneous Duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Fish Biology, Agriculture with speciality of Aquaculture, Fisheries, or related field with experience is preferred. Master or PhD is a plus

Typical Physical Activity
This job involves heavy work exerting up to 75 farms of force routinely, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to more objects.
Typical Environmental Conditions
The worker is frequently subject to inside and outside environmental conditions: Limited protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. The worker can be subject to extreme cold and/or hot conditions.

3) Fish & Shellfish Diseases Pathologist:
A pathologist specialized in Fish and shrimp diseases histopathology. Preference will be for those with Master or PhD degree and experience in histopathological diagnosis of fish and shellfish diseases. Selected candidate will be working closely with fish and shellfish farms in Saudi Arabia to diagnosing the fish and shellfish samples using pathological samples.

• Chosen candidates may also contribute to training technicians on methods of tissue fixations, using microtomes, staining tissue sections using different stains and prepare permanent stained tissue section slide.
• Demonstrate ability to detect tissues changes and contribute in diseases diagnosis using histopathological examination.
• Write reports with all findings in English and Arabic
• Write scientific manuscripts and periodical reports

5) Quality Control Manager
Position of quality manager is required for aquaculture project in Saudi Arabai. Candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and technical assistance to an assigned lab and farm operations.
He will be responsible also for ensuring working in the laboratories and farms will be according to quality systems and following quality programs.
Primary responsibilities:
Include, but are not limited to:
• Serves as the Quality resource for assigned department/unit and ensures adherence to all Kraft Quality programs such as ISO-17025, HACCP,..etc
• Perform Internal Audits, Traceability & Recall, etc…
• Writing SOPs for different operational activities that needed to achieve ISO-17025 accreditation
• Ensures that products are produced to specification and that all documentation requirements are consistently adhered to meet safety, quality and regulatory requirements
• Conducts investigations to determine root cause and recommends & implements corrective, preventive or improvement actions associated with quality and food safety.
• Supports the commercialization process within department/unit and provides technical expertise for Quality & Food Safety.
• Develop and conduct employee training as necessary to improve the overall quality management process & system
Qualifications
Requirements Include:
-BA/BS Degree in Food/Animal Science or related field
- Master or PhD is preferred
-Minimum 3-5 years of Lab, farm or food safety/quality experience strongly preferred
-Working knowledge of quality management practices
-Strong computer skills (Microsoft platform)
-Ability to work aggressively and effectively with a wide array of plant personnel ranging from hourly employees to senior management
-Strong leadership, change management and communication skills
-Strong organization & follow-up skills
-Demonstrated data analysis & problem solving skills
-Influencing/coaching people at all levels
- 25% travel required
