الخميس، 7 أيار 2026 — أجرى وفد من مركز التميّز للإبداع والتطوير في الجامعة الأمريكية في بغداد زيارة إلى مقر شركة Tech964، حيث التقى السيد زياد شعبان، الرئيس التنفيذي للمركز، بالسيد علي العقابي، الرئيس التنفيذي للشركة. 🤝🏻✨

وشهد اللقاء مناقشة فرص التعاون المشترك بين الجانبين في مجالات الابتكار الرقمي 💻، وتطوير المهارات 🎯، ودعم المبادرات الريادية 🚀، إلى جانب بحث مشاريع وأنشطة مستقبلية تسهم في دعم البيئة التكنولوجية وتعزيز التعاون بين القطاعين الأكاديمي والخاص في العراق.

كما تضمنت الزيارة جولة في مجمّع بوابة العراق 🏙️، الذي يحتضن مقر الشركة، أعقبها غداء عمل في أجواء إيجابية عكست روح التعاون والانفتاح على فرص مستقبلية واعدة 🌟

Thursday, May 7, 2026 — A delegation from the Center of Excellence for Innovation and Development (CEID) at the American University in Iraq – Baghdad visited the headquarters of Tech964, where Mr. Ziad Chaaban, CEO of CEID, met with Mr. Ali Al-Aqabi, CEO of the company. 🤝🏻✨

The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for collaboration in digital innovation 💻, skills development 🎯, and entrepreneurship 🚀, as well as discussing future initiatives aimed at supporting Iraq’s growing technology ecosystem and strengthening ties between the academic and private sectors.

The visit also included a tour of Iraq Gate Complex 🏙️, followed by a business lunch in a positive and collaborative atmosphere 🌟

في يوم الخميس، الموافق 23 نيسان 2026، وفي إطار تعزيز التعاون المؤسسي وتوسيع آفاق الشراكات الاستراتيجية، زار وفد من مركز التميّز للإبداع والتطوير في الجامعة الأمريكية في بغداد، برئاسة الأستاذ زياد شعبان، الرئيس التنفيذي للمركز، مقر وزارة الهجرة والمهجّرين العراقية 🏛️.

عُقد خلال الزيارة اجتماع رسمي رفيع المستوى مع الدكتور صفاء حسين أحمد، المدير العام لدائرة شؤون الهجرة، وبحضور الأستاذ كريم يوسف البدري من مجلس محافظة بغداد. تناول الاجتماع آفاق التعاون المشترك وتبادل الخبرات التقنية والتدريبية بما يسهم في دعم البرامج الوطنية التنموية 📈.

كما شارك الوفد في طاولة مستديرة تخصصية لمناقشة "البرنامج الوطني لإعادة إدماج العائدين والنازحين" 🌍، بالتعاون مع المنظمة الدولية للهجرة (IOM) ونخبة من الجهات الحكومية، تأكيداً على دور المركز الريادي في دعم جهود الاستقرار المجتمعي وتحقيق التنمية المستدامة في العراق.

On Thursday, April 23, 2026, as part of ongoing efforts to bolster institutional collaboration and expand strategic partnerships, a delegation from the Center of Excellence for Innovation and Development (CEID) at AUIB, led by Mr. Ziad Chaaban, CEO of CEID, visited the Iraqi Ministry of Migration and Displacement 🏛️.

A high-level official meeting was held with Dr. Safaa Hussein Ahmed, Director General of Migration Affairs, in the presence of Mr. Karim Yousif Al-Badri from the Baghdad Provincial Council. The discussions focused on exploring avenues for cooperation and the exchange of technical expertise to support national development programs 📈.

The delegation also participated in a specialized roundtable discussion regarding the "National Program for the Reintegration of Returnees and Displaced Persons" 🌍, held in coordination with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and key government entities. This participation underscores CEID’s pivotal role in supporting social stability and sustainable development across Iraq

في إطار تعزيز التعاون المؤسسي واستكشاف آفاق الشراكات المستقبلية، استقبل مركز التميّز للإبداع والتطوير في الجامعة الأمريكية في بغداد وفدًا من المفوضية العليا المستقلة للانتخابات، برئاسة سعادة رئيس مجلس المفوضين القاضي عمر أحمد محمد، والسيد رئيس الإدارة الانتخابية القاضي حسين عبد السادة بهير، وعضو مجلس المفوضين المستشار الدكتور فتاح محمد. 🤝

وجرى خلال الزيارة بحث فرص التعاون المشترك في عدد من المجالات الحيوية المرتبطة بالتدريب وبناء القدرات، بما في ذلك التحول الرقمي، والحوكمة الإلكترونية، والاتصال المؤسسي، وضمان الجودة، إلى جانب تطوير القدرات المؤسسية وتبادل الخبرات. 📊

وأكد الجانبان أهمية بناء شراكات استراتيجية تسهم في تعزيز الابتكار ودعم مسارات التطوير المؤسسي، بما يحقق أثرًا مستدامًا ويخدم المصلحة العامة في العراق. ✨

As part of efforts to strengthen institutional collaboration and explore future partnership opportunities, the Center of Excellence for Innovation and Development at American University of Iraq – Baghdad received a delegation from the Independent High Electoral Commission, led by His Excellency Judge Omar Ahmed Mohammed, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, along with Judge Hussein Abdul-Sada Bahir, Head of the Electoral Administration Office, and Dr. Fattah Mohammed, Member of the Board of Commissioners. 🤝

The visit included discussions on potential areas of cooperation in key fields related to training and capacity building, including digital transformation, e-governance, strategic communication, and quality assurance, in addition to institutional development and knowledge exchange. 📊

Both sides emphasized the importance of building strategic partnerships that promote innovation and support institutional development, contributing to sustainable impact and serving the public interest in Iraq. ✨

الاثنين، 20 نيسان 2026، استقبل الدكتور حسين فلامرز، مستشار رئيس مجلس الوزراء لشؤون الريادة، والمدير التنفيذي لمبادرة ريادة، وفد مركز التميّز للإبداع والتطوير – الجامعة الأمريكية في بغداد برئاسة الأستاذ زياد شعبان، وذلك في قصر ريادة. 🏛️

شهد اللقاء نقاشًا مهنيًا بنّاءً، حيث عبّر الدكتور حسين فلامرز عن دعمه ومباركته للهيكل البرامجي والخطة الاستراتيجية لحاضنة ريادة الأعمال والتنمية المستدامة (ESDH). 📊

كما أكد دعمه الكامل للمبادرة، مشيرًا إلى أنها تمثل شراكة استراتيجية فاعلة، ويتطلع إلى ترجمتها إلى نتائج ملموسة على أرض الواقع. ✨

On Monday, April 20, 2026, Dr. Hussein Flamers, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Entrepreneurship Affairs, and Executive Director of the Riyada Initiative, received a delegation from the Center of Excellence for Innovation and Development – American University of Iraq – Baghdad, led by Mr. Ziad Chaaban, at the Riyada Palace. 🏛️

The meeting featured a constructive professional discussion, during which Dr. Flamers expressed his support and endorsement of the program framework and strategic plan of the Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development Hub (ESDH). 📊

He also reaffirmed his full support for the initiative, noting that it represents an effective strategic partnership and expressing his interest in seeing it translated into tangible results on the ground. ✨
