EYFS children are aged between 2 months and 5 years old. EYFS stands for Early Years Foundation Stage and is the standard set for education, teaching, learning and care of 2 months to 5-year-olds. The EYFS is divided up into seven Areas of Learning and Development, which are:

• Personal, Social and Emotional
Baby Group (2 month - 1 Year olds)
Toddler Group (1 - 2.5 year olds)
Pre-school Group (2.5 - 4 year olds)
Reception Group (4 - 5 year olds)
