أجهزة نزع الهواء هي أجهزة ميكانيكية تعمل على إزالة الغازات الذائبة من مياه تغذية الغلايات .
يعمل نزع الهواء على حماية نظام البخار من تأثيرات الغازات المسببة للتآكل .
و يحقق ذلك عن طريق تقليل تركيز الأكسجين المذاب و ثاني أكسيد الكربون إلى مستوى يتم فيه تقليل التآكل.
هناك حاجة إلى مستوى الأكسجين المذاب بمقدار 5 ppb أو أقل لمنع التاكل فى معظم غلايات الضغط العالى (>200 pounds per square inch)
في حين أنه يمكن تحمل تركيزات الأكسجين التي تصل إلى 43جزء في البليون في الغلايات ذات الضغط المنخفض إلا أنه يتم إطالة عمر المعدات بتكلفة قليلة أو بدون تكلفة عن طريق الحد من تركيز الأكسجين إلى 5جزء في البليون و يتم إزالة ثاني أكسيد الكربون المذاب بالكامل

Grude oil is classified as light, medium, or heavy according to its measured API gravity.
-Light crude oil has an API gravity higher than 31.1°.
-Medium oil has an API gravity between 22.3 and 31.1°.
-Heavy crude oil has an API gravity below 22.3°.
-Extra heavy oil has an API gravity below 10.0°.

API Gravity: A specific gravity scale developed by the American Petroleum Institute (API) for measuring the relative density of various petroleum liquids, expressed in degrees. API gravity is gradated in degrees on a hydrometer instrument and was designed so that most values would fall between 10° and 70° API gravity. The arbitrary formula used to obtain this effect is: API gravity = (141.5/SG at 60°F) - 131.5, where SG is the specific gravity of the fluid.

What is it 🤔

Oil Refinery Process crude oil is heated and fed into a distillation column. A schematic of the distillation column is shown in Figure. As the temperature of the crude oil in the distillation column rises, the crude oil separates itself into different components, called “fractions.” The fractions are then captured separately. Each fraction corresponds to a different type of petroleum product, depending on the temperature at which that fraction boils off the crude oil mixture.
