*Fourth grade students of M. Haleema Public School created the structure of Sanchi Stupa in the 5th Science Exhibition.*

The Sanchi Stupa, located in Madhya Pradesh, India, is a prominent Buddhist monument commissioned by Emperor Ashoka in the 3rd century BCE, featuring a large dome (anda) built over Buddha's relics, surrounded by elaborate gateways (toranas) with intricate carvings depicting Jataka tales and Buddhist symbols, serving as a significant pilgrimage site and a masterpiece of ancient Indian architecture. This UNESCO World Heritage site showcases Buddhist art, architectural evolution with additions from later dynasties, and the journey to enlightenment through its symbolic structure.

*Fourth grade students of M. Haleema Public School made a working model of the dam in the 5th Science Exhibition.*

A dam is a barrier built across a river to hold back water, creating a reservoir for uses like irrigation, drinking water, flood control, and hydroelectric power, but it also impacts ecosystems by altering water flow and affecting wildlife. These structures range from small earthworks to massive concrete walls, serving vital functions for society, but can cause issues like habitat disruption and displacement, making them complex projects with significant benefits and drawbacks.

Third grade students of M. Haleema Public School made the structure of Colosseum in Rome in the 5th Science Exhibition.

The Colosseum, or Flavian Amphitheatre, is Rome's iconic, massive oval amphitheater, the largest ever built, constructed by Vespasian and Titus (AD 72-80) for public spectacles like gladiatorial contests, animal hunts, and executions, holding 50,000+ spectators and remaining a significant symbol of Roman engineering and history, though now partly ruined.
