The SIKF - Sikkim proudly congratulates our medal winners and the entire Sikkim contingent for their outstanding performance at the 5th KIO Sub-Junior, Cadet & Junior National Karate Championship 2026, held at Dehradun from 3rd to 7th June 2026.

🥈 Yangchen Tamang – Silver Medal
Sub-Junior Female (9 Years) – Individual Kata

🥈 Pradyum Pradhan – Silver Medal
Sub-Junior Male (11 Years, +45 kg) – Individual Kumite

The journey begins!

The Sikkim State Karate Team has officially started their journey to participate in the 5th KIO National Championship – 2026 (Sub Junior, Cadet & Junior Categories), scheduled to be held at Dehradun from 3rd June to 7th June 2026.
This championship is a great platform for our young karatekas to showcase their dedication, discipline, and fighting spirit at the national level. We are proud of each and every participant who has worked tirelessly to earn this opportunity.

On behalf of the entire Sikkim karate fraternity, I extend my heartfelt best wishes to all team members, coaches, officials, and supporters. May you perform with confidence, uphold the true spirit of Karate-Do, and bring glory to Sikkim.

We are proud to share that Babyana Gurung, Anurodh Rai, and Dewakar Chettri are representing the state of Sikkim at the prestigious 5th KIO National Championship – 2026 (Senior & Under-21) to be held at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi.
Competing at the national level is a great achievement, and this opportunity reflects their dedication, discipline, and continuous hard work in Karate. 🥋🇮🇳
