Paytm Payments Bank to launch next week - Renu Satti is the CEO

India's biggest digital wallet Paytm has received the final approval from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to set up it's Payments Bank. With this, the road is now clear for paytm to kickstart its much-awaited payments bank operations next week. Paytm's holding company One97 Communications has today announced that it has appointed it's long time executive and vice president Renu Satti as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Paytm Payments Bank and it will be launching its Payments Bank operations from 23rd May 2017.



Satti has been with Paytm's owner One 97 Communications for over a decade. She has been elevated from the post of vice president. She is going to replace Shinjini Kumar, a former central banker and senior executive at consultancy PwC, who was named as Paytm Payments Bank CEO last year. Satti has worked with Paytm for around ten years.

One97 Communications founder and CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma was among the 11 applicants to receive RBI’s in-principle nod for a payments bank licence in November 2015. In January, Paytm had said it received the final approvals from the RBI and was planning to start payments bank in one or two months, but the launch was delayed. Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma will hold the majority share in Paytm Payments Bank, with the rest being held by One97 Communications. The RBI allows payments banks to accept deposits from individuals and small businesses of up to Rs 1 lakh per account.

Note : Bharti Airtel Ltd has recently commenced operations for Airtel Payments Banks, a joint venture between Bharti Airtel Ltd and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.

South-based Lakshmi Vitas Bank has had up with Centrum Group in which the bank will refer its High Net worth Individuals (HNI) to Centrum for wealth management and family office services. Centrum will conduct the busi-ness through its wealth management arm Centrum Wealth Management and will offer its existing portfolio of wealth management services to the bank's HNI clients. Note : This is the first time in the country that a private bank has given the charge to an independent professional wealth.In a fresh push toward a less cash economy, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has prohibit-ed non-banking finance companies (NBFCs) of all kinds from lending more than Rs.20,000 in cash against gold.



Note : The NBFCs have been told to issue cheques for loan amounts above this prescribed limit. Earlier, NBFCs had been directed to disburse only high value loans of Rs.1 lakh and above against gold by cheque. iSelect term plan Canara, HSBC and Oriental Bank of Commerce Life Insurance launched iSelect term plan to expand its online product suit with the meant for family protection. iSelect term plan provides enhanced protection cover for the family at an affordable premium. Note : The Reserve Bank of India has permitted banks to levy charges for breaching minimum balance limit. SBI to Charge Rs. 25 on All ATM Withdrawals from 1st June 2017

Update : SBI issued clarification about this issue and announced this new rule was amisprint by SBI and the charge is only applicable ATM withdrawals using the bank’s mobile wallet – SBI Buddy. You can check complete details from HERE.

SBI To levy Rs. 25 Charge for All ATM Transactions

India's largest Public Sector Lender, State Bank of India (SBI) has today announced another revision in service charges from June 1st. It will start levying Rs. 25 for every withdrawal from it's Automated Teller Machine (ATM). Only RuPay classic card will be issued for free.

The new charges will be applicable to SBI card holders as well and they will also be required to pay the levy.

Beyond four withdrawals in a month, the service charges applicable will be Rs. 50 plus service tax per transaction at branch; Rs. 20 plus service tax at other bank ATMs and Rs. 10 plus serivce tax for SBI ATMs.

Cash deposit through banking correspondent of up to Rs. 10,000 (in multiples of 100) will be charged at 0.25 per cent of the value with a minimum of Rs. 2 and maximum of Rs. 8 plus service tax. Cash withdrawal through banking correspondent of up to Rs. 2,000 (multiples of 100) will be charged at 2.50 per cent of the transaction value (minimum of Rs. 6) plus service tax.

Online Transactions :

The bank is going to charge for Online Transfers as well. IMPS fund transfer charges through internet banking/UPI/IUSSD will be Rs. 5 plus service tax for amounts of up to Rs. 1 lakh; Rs. 15 plus service tax for above Rs. 1 lakh and up to Rs. 2 lakh; and Rs. 25 plus service tax for above Rs. 2 lakh and up to Rs. 5 lakh.

Exchange of Soiled Notes :

The bank has also clarified that it will also charge the amount for exchange of "soiled" notes worth and above Rs 5,000. Service charges for exchange of soiled/imperfect notes, up to 20 pieces and value of Rs. 5,000 will demand no charge. More than 20 pieces will invite Rs. 2 per piece on the

यमुना नगर हरियाणा का इकलौता ट्विन सिटी शहर है जिसे जगाधरी यमुना नगर के नाम से भी जाना जाता है

यमुना नगर का पहले नाम अब्दुलपुर था। यमुना नदी से एक यमुना नहर निकली गयी जिसे शहर के एक छोर से निकाला गया। जिससे इसका नाम यमुना नगर पड़ा।

यमुना नगर में यमुना नदी के ऊपर एक डैम बनाया गया जहाँ यमुना नदी का पानी कण्ट्रोल किया जाता है। इस डैम से पूरे हरियाणा में यमुना का पानी सिचाई हेतु उपयोग में लाया जाता है ।

यमुना नगर में ही यमुना नदी पहाड़ों से होती हुई धरातल पर प्रवेश करती है।

यमुना नगर एक और से शिवालिक की पहाड़ियों से घिरा हुआ है। कलेसर उपवन ताजेवाला पहाड़िया देखने योग्य हैं। नेशनल पार्क में कई जंगली जानवर भी देखे जाते हैं ।

हरियाणा का सबसे बड़ा हथनी कुंड बेराज यमुना नगर में ही है जहाँ से हरियाणा , उत्तर प्रदेश , दिल्ली को पानी दिया जाता है ।

सरस्वती नदी यमुना नगर के आदिबद्री की पहाड़ियों से निकलती है । अब यह नदी लुप्त हो चुकी है । पर इसे खोज निकलने का काम अब भी जारी है

यमुना नगर हरियाणा का इकलौता ऐसा राज्य है जहाँ पानी और कोयले दोनों से बिजली बनाई जाती है । दीनबंदु छोटूराम पावर प्लांट यमुना नगर में लगाया गया है।

यमुना नगर के एक और हिमाचल और उत्तरप्रदेश राज्य हैं

इसके दूसरी और अम्बाला और कुरुक्षेत्र जिले हैं।

यमुना नगर उद्योग में भी हरियाणा में अहम स्थान रखता है यमुना नगर में सरस्वती शुगर मिल है जो एशिया की सबसे बड़ी शुगर मिल है ।

यमुना नगर में एक्सपोर्ट क्वालिटी के स्टील और ताम्बे के बर्तन बनाये जाते है । जगाधरी भारत की सबसे बड़ी बर्तन फैक्ट्री के नाम से भी जानी जाती है ।

यमुना नगर में अपने 2 रेलवे स्टेशन है । यमुना नगर अमृतसर से कलकत्ता रेलवे मार्ग को जोड़ता है । यमुना नगर में उत्तर भारत का सबसे बड़ा रेलवे वर्कशॉप है जहाँ गाड़ियों की रिपेयर की जाती है ।

यमुना नगर रोडवेज़ के मामले में भी हरियाणा में 1 स्थान रखता है। यमुना नगर हरियाणा का सबसे बड़ा बस डिपो है जिसकी अपनी सबसे ज्यादा व् अधिक दूरी की बस सर्विस है। यमुना नगर की बसे पंजाब के अमृतसर तक हिमाचल के ऊना तक उत्तरप्रदेश के आगरा तक राज्यस्तान के श्री गंगानगर तक व् लद्दाख तक जाने वाली हरियाणा की इकलौती बस सर्विस हैं।

यमुना नगर हॉस्पिटल व् स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं के मामले में भी हरियाणा में अहम स्थान रखता हूं । यहाँ शरीर की लगभग सभी बिमारियों का इलाज किया जाता है । गाबा हॉस्पिटल को छोटी P.G.I कहा जाता है कपिल हॉस्पिटल हरियाणा का एक मात्र हॉस्पिटल है जिसमे टेस्ट ट्यूब बेबी बनाने की टेक्नोलॉजी है।

Important : Railway Budget merged with Union Budget

Friends, the Union Cabinet today approved thescrapping of the 92-year old practice of presenting Railway Budget and merged it with the Union Budget. This means, there will be no separate railway budget from the next financial year (2017). This merger would lead to presentation of a single Appropriation Bill, including the estimates of Ministry of Railways, thereby saving precious time of Parliament by not having to hold separate consideration and passing of two Appropriation Bills.

Further, the Cabinet also approved the advancing of the date of presentation of the Union Budget, which is currently presented on the last working day of February.



The Railway Budget was separated from the general government finances in the year 1924. The measure was taken on the recommendations submitted by a panel led by British economist William Acworth in 1920-21.

The move to discard the British-era practice of a separate rail budget by the Modi government comes after a 2-member committeecomprising Niti Aayog member Bibek Debroyand Kishore Desai recommended the exercise be scrapped. This committee on restructuring of the Ministry of Railways had recommended that having a separate railway budget should be phased out, merging it with the General Budget.

The Cabinet also approved removal of distinction between Plan and Non-Plan expenditure as the present classification resulted in excessive focus on former with almost equivalent neglect to items such as maintenance which are classified as non-Plan. The Cabinet felt it is the total expenditure, irrespective of Plan or Non-Plan, that generates value for the public.
