The Environment Club of Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy, Yamunanagar, in collaboration with SEMBR and Civil Hospital, Yamunanagar, enthusiastically celebrated World Environment Day 2026 under the theme "Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future” on 05.06.2026.
As part of the celebration, a Tree Plantation Drive was successfully organized at the premises of Civil Hospital, Yamunanagar, and GGSCOP, reaffirming our commitment to environmental sustainability and a greener future.
An enlightening expert session on “An Urgent Need for Collective Global Action to Prevent, Halt and Reverse the Degradation of Ecosystems Worldwide – Inspired by Nature for Climate and Future” was delivered by Dr K. R. Bhardwaj, who emphasized the importance of collective responsibility and nature-based solutions for addressing global environmental challenges.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr Divya Mangla (Officiating Civil Surgeon), Dr Charu Kalra (Deputy Civil Surgeon), and Mr Ashok Kumar for their valuable support and contribution in making this event a success.
Together, every tree planted today is a promise for a healthier, greener, and more sustainable tomorrow.

On 31.05.2026, the Youth Red Cross Club of Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy proudly volunteered and actively participated in the Blood Donation and Health Check-up Camp organized by Jeevandeep Society at Saraswati Dham, Saraswati Nagar. Our dedicated student volunteers contributed wholeheartedly to the success of this noble initiative by assisting in camp management, spreading awareness about voluntary blood donation, and supporting healthcare professionals during health screening activities. Such community outreach programs not only promote social responsibility but also reinforce the spirit of humanitarian service among future healthcare professionals.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all volunteers whose collective efforts made this event meaningful and impactful. Every drop of donated blood has the potential to save lives, and every act of service strengthens our commitment to a healthier society.
