Scholarship test for admission in B.Tech courses will held on 17th May 2015, 10:00 A.M. in Haryana Engineering College, Jagadhri, Yamunanagar.

Scholarship test for admission to B-Tech courses will held on 17th May 2015 in Haryana Engineering College, Jagadhri, Yamunanagar. Guidelines and Instructions:-

1. Date of Entrance Test is 17th May, 2015 from 10.00 am to 11.30 am.
2. Registration form for Entrance Test shall be submitted by 10th May, 2015.
3. Examination fee of this test is Rs. 100.00 will be charged at the time of exam on May 17

, 2015.
4. Candidates shall report the examination centre by 9.00 am.
5. Exam will consist of 45 objective type questions based on AIEEE format.
6. No negative marking will be there.
7. Candidates must bring Black/Blue point pen for filling up OMR sheets.
8. Programmable Calculators and Mobile Phones are not allowed in examination center.
9. Candidates must bring Admit Card with them at the time of Examination. No candidate will be allowed to enter Exam centre without Admit Card.
10. Result will be declared on 21st May, 2015 and available on college website(www.hec.edu.in)
11. Selected candidates must report on 26th May, 2015 before 05:00 p.m. Scholarship scheme for 1st year students admitted in the academic session 2015 – 16.

1. Rank 1-5 of entrance test will get 100% scholarship in tuition fee at the time of admission.
2. Rank 6-10 of entrance test will get 80% scholarship in tuition fee at the time of admission.
3. Rank 11-15 of entrance test will get 60% scholarship in tuition fee at the time of admission.
4. Rank 16-20 of entrance test will get 40% scholarship in tuition fee at the time of admission.
5. Other enrolled candidates will get scholarship of Rs. 5,000. Under ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’ campaign of Hon’ble, Prime Minister, girls student shall get additional wavier of 20% in tuition fee at the time of admission. Scholarship scheme for 2nd year to 4th year students admitted in the academic session 2015 – 16.

1. 1st to 5th toppers of college will get 100% waiver in tuition fee.
2. Next 6th to 10th toppers of college will get 80% waiver in tuition fee.
3. Next 11th to 15th toppers of college will get 60% waiver in tuition fee.
4. Next 16th to 20th toppers of college will get 40% waiver in tuition fee. Note:
• Students who pass in first attempt in both semesters of a particular year during B-Tech will get waiver of Rs.5000 in total fees, girls student shall get additional wavier of 20% in tuition fee.
• Student can avail only one benefit.
• The College Governing Body reserves its right to change, withdraw or withhold any of the clauses or conditions stipulated above as and when deemed necessary.

Scholarship test for admission to B-Tech courses will held on 22nd May 2016 in Haryana Engineering College, Jagadhri, Yamunanagar.

Guidelines and Instructions:-

--Date of Entrance Test is 22nd May, 2016 (10.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.)
--Registration for Entrance is open till 18th May, 2016.
--Candidates shall report at the examination centre by 9.00 a.m.
--Examination will consist of 45 objective type questions based on JEE Main pattern in the examination.
--There will be no negative marking.
--Candidates shall bring Black/Blue point pen for filling up OMR sheet.
--Programmable calculators and mobile phones are not allowed in examination center.
--Candidates must bring Admit Card with them at the time of Examination.
--No candidate will be allowed to enter in the examination centre without his/her Admit Card.
--Result will be declared on 25th May, 2016 and made available on college website(www.hec.edu.in)
--Selected candidates shall report at HEC on 30th May, 2016 before 05:00 p.m.

SALIENT FEATURES OF SCHOLARSHIP TEST:-

--Based upon the marks scored in scholarship test & 10+2 marks, candidate will get upto 100% scholarship in tuition fee.
--Candidates who only qualify the test will get scholarship of Rs. 10,000 (both for boys and girls). In addition to this, girls students shall get additional waiver of Rs. 5,000/- in tuition fee under ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’ campaign of Hon’ble, Prime Minister of India.
--The scholarship is valid for students admitted in 1st year of B.Tech for academic year 2016-17. For scholarship rules in 2nd to 4th year of B.Tech., please refer to college website www.hec.edu.in.
