Congratulations Prof (Dr.) Ajmer Singh Grewal for publication of his research article in the prestigious Journal of Medicinal Chemistry (ACS Publications), one of the world's leading journals in medicinal chemistry (Q1 Journal | Impact Factor 2025: 7.3).

The published research, titled "Dual SYK-HDAC Inhibitor Elicits Striking Efficacy against Acute Myeloid Leukemia: Rational Design, Synthesis, and Biological Evaluation," represents a significant contribution to anticancer drug discovery and highlights the growing research excellence of our institution.

A Remarkable Learning Experience at INST, Mohali!

Students and faculty of Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy, had a truly remarkable experience while visiting the prestigious Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), Mohali.

During this enriching visit, our students got hands-on exposure to some of the most advanced analytical and characterisation techniques used in pharmaceutical and nanotechnology research today.
The interactive sessions with INST's scientists and technical experts gave our students invaluable insights into nanomaterials, drug delivery systems, biomaterials, and novel pharmaceutical formulations — helping them bridge the gap between what they study in classrooms and what researchers are actually building in laboratories.
This is the kind of learning that stays with students for life. 💙

Today, we're proud to share the success story of Prabhjot Kaur, a student of MPharm (2023–25) from Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy, Yamuna Nagar.

Prabhjot has been placed as a Patient Safety Associate at Parexel International India Pvt. Ltd.—a milestone that reflects her hard work, dedication, and the confidence she built throughout her academic journey.

But what makes her story truly special isn't just the placement. It's the journey behind it.
Prabhjot was a recipient of the prestigious JAI Scholarship — a recognition that didn't just ease her path financially, it fired something up inside her. She didn't just study harder. She grew.

She understands that it wasn't just textbooks that shaped her but the mentors, the faculty and the kind of teachers who always provided an immense support and guidance.
