What’s Inside the Human Body? Let’s Explore!

Science becomes easier to understand when students can visualise what they learn. At Govt. High School Sarta, Jehanabad, , the teacher used the Human Torso Model to explain key concepts of human anatomy in the classroom.

The model helped students identify important organs and body parts while understanding their respective functions. This visual approach made complex anatomical concepts easier to observe, discuss, and understand.

Understanding Energy Through a Track Model!

At Govt. Girls HSS in Cherital, Jabalpur, , students explored the KE–PE Track Model in the classroom, supported by GAIL (India) Limited.

The activity focused on understanding the conversion of Potential Energy (P.E.) into Kinetic Energy (K.E.), helping students connect the concept with a visual representation of motion and energy.

Such learning experiences provide students with another way to explore physics beyond definitions and equations—through observation, interaction, and conceptual understanding.

"A Colour Change That Tells a Story!

The Iodine-Starch Test brought an important science concept into focus at UHS Ghanshyam Pakri. Students observed the colour change during the activity and explored what this visible reaction reveals about the presence of starch.

From reading about a concept to observing it happen in front of them, students experienced a more interactive way of learning science. Every observation became an opportunity to ask questions, explore, and understand.

Two Models. Two Concepts. One Curious Classroom!

At Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Gamharia, Adityapur, Seraikela Kharsawan, , students explored science through the Kaleidoscope and Human Eye models. Guided by their teacher, the session helped students visualise concepts that are often difficult to understand through textbooks alone.

The Kaleidoscope model helped students explore multiple reflections and the formation of symmetrical images, while the Human Eye model offered a closer look at the eye’s role as a sense organ responsible for vision.

With the support of Oerlikon Group Blazer, the classroom became a space for observation, exploration, and scientific understanding—helping students see familiar concepts from a new perspective.

Bringing Plant Cell Concepts to Life!

Science became more visual at G.M.S.S.S., Bharotiwala, , as the teacher introduced students to the Plant Cell model at the Mini Science Centre, with support from Vardhaman Textile. The model provided students with a practical way to explore the fascinating world hidden inside every plant.

From understanding eukaryotic cells to identifying the parts of a cell and exploring the differences between plant and animal cells, students had an opportunity to strengthen their conceptual understanding through visual and interactive learning.

When students can see, explore, and connect scientific concepts with real models, learning becomes more engaging and memorable. Experiences like these spark curiosity and make science easier to understand and exciting to discover.

From Puzzle Pieces to Mathematical Thinking!

At Government High School, Shahpur, Singrauli, , students explored basic geometric shapes using the Tangram Model from their Mini Science Centre.

As they rearranged the pieces to create different forms, students could observe how shapes fit together and explore geometry through experimentation.

Sink or Float? Let’s Find Out!

Science becomes more exciting when students get to test it themselves! At Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV), Kuru, Lohardaga, , Class 9 students explored density and buoyancy through a simple hands-on activity using water and glass containers.

As the iron nail sank in water, students observed how density affects the behaviour of objects in a liquid. Activities like these turn scientific concepts into experiences students can see, explore, and understand.

Learning about the human eye becomes more engaging when students can visualise scientific concepts beyond the pages of a textbook! At Government Senior Secondary School in Rarang, Kinnaur district, , the teacher used the Human Eye model in the Mini Science Centre to explain how our eyes help us understand the world around us.

Through this visual learning experience, students explored the role of the eye as a sense organ, the functions of different body parts, and the science behind vision. Interactive models help students observe concepts closely, understand them better, and connect them with everyday life.

Supported by the SBI Foundation, the Mini Science Centre brings experiential science learning closer to students and encourages curiosity through visual exploration. From understanding vision to discovering how our senses work, every model opens a new window to learning!
