From Curiosity to Creativity—A New STEM Journey Begins!

What happens when young minds get the right space to explore? Ideas come alive, questions turn into experiments, and learning becomes an experience! We are proud to share the inauguration of the Vardhman Textiles-supported Mini Science Centre at Govt. Sr. Secondary School, Barotiwala, Baddi, Solan. The centre was inaugurated by District Commissioner Shri Man Mohan Sharma, Solan, in the presence of Shri IMJS Sidhu, Director & Plant President, Vardhman Textiles, along with Atul Bharadwaj, Vice President; Virendra Kumar, State Head; Sandeep Guelleria, CSR Manager; and Sandeep Ji, SDM Solan.

The atmosphere was full of energy as the dignitaries interacted with students and explored the Mini Science Centre. What stood out most was the spark in the students’ eyes as they engaged with hands-on models and explored the world of science through experimentation and discovery. The Principal Ma’am and faculty members also appreciated the initiative and its potential to enrich students’ learning.

With the support of Vardhman Textiles, this Mini Science Centre is more than a learning space—it is a platform for students to imagine, investigate, innovate and create. Together, let’s inspire the next generation to look at the world with curiosity and turn their questions into ideas!

What does the blueprint of life look like?

At Govt. High School, Ghichamura, , students are discovering the answer through hands-on learning! The teacher brings the fascinating world of genetics into the classroom using an interactive DNA model.

From understanding the Double Helix structure to learning how A-T and G-C base pairs connect, students get to visualise concepts that are often difficult to understand through textbooks alone.

Turning classrooms into spaces of curiosity and discovery, hands-on STEM education is helping students connect scientific concepts with real understanding.

Little hands, big imagination, and hearts full of pride!

This Independence Day, classrooms came alive with colours, creativity, and joyful celebrations as children expressed their feelings through paintings, rangoli, tricolour flags, and wonderful DIY creations. What began as a simple art and craft activity turned into a beautiful celebration of imagination and togetherness.

The excitement grew even more during the flag-hoisting ceremonies, as children came together to celebrate the spirit of freedom with pride and joy.

This Independence Day, let’s celebrate the joy of creating, the freedom to imagine, and the young minds shaping a brighter future!

Science is best understood when students can see it, explore it, and experience it! At Andra Education Society, Wadala, , the Floating Magnets model brought the fascinating properties of magnets to life in the classroom.

Through a simple yet powerful demonstration, the teacher explained how opposite poles attract and like poles repel. The model turned an important scientific concept into a visual and interactive learning experience for students.

One model can spark many perspectives—and one hands-on experience can inspire a lifelong curiosity for science!

At Govt HS Bassi ki Bawdi, Manasa, Neemuch, , learning comes alive through hands-on STEM education! With the support of Greenko Group, students are exploring scientific concepts beyond textbooks.

In the classroom, the teacher demonstrates the Law of Reflection using a plane mirror model, helping students clearly understand how light behaves. The key concept is simple yet fascinating — the angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection!

When students can see, observe and explore a concept in action, science becomes more engaging and meaningful. Here’s to making every classroom a space for curiosity, discovery and learning!

A Mini Science Centre creates the opportunity for hands-on learning—but its real impact comes when teachers know how to bring those models into everyday classroom teaching.

Through our Teacher Capacity Building Program, educators at Tukaram Hari Wajekar High School, Uran, Raigad, explored practical ways to use Mini Science Centre models to make concepts more interactive, engaging, and easier for students to understand.

By building teachers’ confidence and classroom practices, we can help turn STEM infrastructure into meaningful learning experiences for students—where curiosity leads to exploration and learning goes beyond the textbook.

A heartfelt thank you to Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority - JNPA for its valuable CSR support in strengthening teacher capacity and advancing hands-on STEM education.

What happens when teachers become learners too?

At Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya, Aya Nagar, , teachers came together for a hands-on training session to explore new ways of making STEM learning more practical, engaging, and fun for students.

Through activities and experiments, they explored how simple hands-on experiences can help students ask questions, try things out, make mistakes, and discover answers for themselves.

The session also included a baseline assessment to understand where students are starting from and help track their learning journey over time.

Supported by Narayana Health, this initiative is helping bring more curiosity and hands-on learning into the classroom.

Because sometimes, the best way to teach something is to experience it yourself first.

From carrying rocket parts on bicycles... to putting our Tiranga on the Moon. Moon, Mars, and beyond—India’s journey is pure goosebumps.

Behind every historic leap was once a child who dared to look up at the stars and ask, ""Why not us?""

Today, that same spark lives in millions of classrooms across India. Every question asked, every model built, every experiment tried is the beginning of India’s next big story.

Celebrating 79 years of extraordinary resilience and pride. Inspiring the young dreamers who will write the next chapter.

Happy 80th Independence Day!

What happens when Science and Math move beyond the textbook?

Across 475+ schools in 29 districts of Karnataka, students are getting opportunities to experience STEM through hands-on learning.

With Mini Science Centres, Tinkering Labs, Astronomy Labs, and Science Labs, students can build, experiment, observe, question, and find out how things work instead of only reading about them.

A lesson about force becomes something they can see and test.
A science concept becomes an experiment.
An idea becomes something they can build.

And along the way, students are learning skills that matter far beyond the classroom—curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, collaboration, and the confidence to ask “What if?”

With the support of 70+ CSR partners, STEM Learning is bringing more opportunities to learn by doing across Karnataka.

Because when children get the chance to explore, learning becomes something they experience—not just something they remember.
