In 2020, he joined Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa as a Chef (2020–2023), followed by his promotion to Sous Chef at Emerald Zanzibar Resort & Spa (2023–2024). Returning to Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa as Sous Chef (2024–2025), Jimmy's exceptional leadership and culinary expertise earned him the prestigious role of Chef de Cuisine (2025–Present).

Jimmy M Jacob pursued his B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration at Oriental School of Hotel Management , Wayanad, from 2014 to 2017, where he built a strong foundation in hospitality, culinary arts, and professional ethics. During his academic journey, he underwent industrial training at Taj Vivanta, Bangalore, gaining valuable hands-on experience in luxury hospitality and setting the stage for a promising career.
After graduation, Jimmy joined JW Marriott Bengaluru as a Commis, where he refined his culinary skills in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment. His commitment to continuous learning and professional growth soon earned him an opportunity with Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort & Spa, UAE, where he served as a Chef from 2018 to 2020, expanding his expertise in international cuisine and multicultural kitchen operations.
In 2020, Jimmy embarked on an exciting new chapter with Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa as a Chef, where he contributed to delivering exceptional dining experiences at one of the Indian Ocean's premier luxury island resorts. His outstanding performance and leadership abilities led to his promotion as Sous Chef at Emerald Zanzibar Resort & Spa in 2023, where he played a key role in leading culinary teams and maintaining the highest standards of quality and guest satisfaction.
Continuing his upward trajectory, Jimmy returned to Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa as Sous Chef in 2024, taking on greater responsibilities in kitchen management, menu planning, and team development. Today, he proudly serves as Chef de Cuisine at Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa, leading culinary operations at one of the world's finest luxury resorts—a testament to years of hard work, resilience, and an unwavering pursuit of excellence.

Meet AmJath AkBar Akbar, a proud alumnus of B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration (2010–13) at Oriental School of Hotel Management School of Hotel Management. What began as a hospitality education at Oriental evolved into an inspiring international career spanning hotels, tourism, business management, and financial services.
Starting as an Industrial Trainee with Taj Hotels, Amjath steadily built his expertise through renowned hospitality brands including Trident, Marriott, and Ramada, before expanding into business management and leadership roles in Canada. Today, he serves as a Licensed Financial Agent with World Financial Group, Ontario, Canada, helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals.
His journey is a testament to how the skills learned in hospitality—communication, leadership, customer service, and professionalism—can open doors across industries and around the world.

Annu Kumar, B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration (2015–2018) from Oriental School of Hotel Management has built his career across leading hospitality brands in India and the UAE.
He began with industrial training at Radisson Blu Hotel Greater Noida in 2016. After completing his degree, he joined Novotel Ahmedabad as a Front Office Agent (2018–2019) and later worked at Taj Club House in the same role (2019–2020).
From 2020 to 2022, he worked as a Customer Service Representative at Concentrix, before moving to the UAE hospitality industry.
In 2022, he joined Novotel World Trade Centre Dubai as a Reservations Agent. He then worked as a Reservations Advisor at Address Hotels and Resorts (2023–2024), gaining experience with one of the UAE's leading luxury hotel brands.
Since 2025, Annu has been serving as Reservations & Revenue Supervisor at Al Raha Beach Resort & Spa, Abu Dhabi, where he oversees reservation operations and supports revenue management.
His career progression from front office operations in India to a supervisory role in the UAE reflects steady professional growth and the opportunities that a career in hospitality can offer.

is a proud alumna of the Oriental School of Hotel Management , where she completed her BSc Hospitality & Hotel Administration (2016–2019) and began her journey with a strong academic foundation and a deep passion for culinary excellence.
At just 18, she secured 2nd Runner-Up in the DHE Chef Culinary Competition on Mazhavil Manorama, marking an early milestone in her career. After completing her graduation in 2019, she was selected as a Management Trainee with CGH Hotels, where she gained valuable exposure to luxury hospitality operations.
Driven by ambition and global vision, she moved to Australia, where she continues her professional journey. She currently serves as Chef-in-Charge at Superior Care, Queensland, leading with creativity, consistency, and international culinary standards.

From Mumbai to global hospitality, Rijil Thomas has built an impressive career through dedication, skill, and a passion for excellence. After completing his BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (2012–15) at Oriental School of Hotel Management, Wayanad, he began his professional journey as GSA at Hyatt Bangalore, followed by a role at Leela Palace, Mumbai in 2015.
From 2016 to 2018, he strengthened his leadership and operational expertise at Fortune Hotels, before moving into events management as Events Supervisor at Gemini NX Events (2018–19). He then expanded his experience in F&B management with Tim Hortons Abudhabi (2019–20), followed by a five-year tenure as Supervisor at Apparel Group (2020–25).
In 2025–26, he served as Assistant Manager at Dunkin’, and from January 2026 onwards, he has been excelling as Operations Manager at FAT2FIT, Abu Dhabi.

From Mumbai to the classrooms of Oriental School of Hotel Management in Wayanad, and then to kitchens and cruise ships across the world, Gurunathan Yadhav has built an impressive international career through dedication, skill, and a passion for the culinary arts.
A graduate of the B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration program (2012–15) at Oriental IHM, Gurunathan began his professional journey with an internship at Hyatt Bangalore, gaining valuable industry exposure. After graduation, he joined Marriott Bengaluru Whitefield as a Culinary Associate (2015–17), strengthening his foundation in food production. He then moved to JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar (2017–18), further refining his expertise in luxury hospitality.
In 2018, Gurunathan took his career global by joining Celebrity Cruises as a Pastry Tournant. Based out of Miami, USA, he has been delighting guests with exceptional pastry creations while navigating international waters.
