The entire campus came alive in a vibrant celebration of joy, colour and togetherness!

From the adorable Maveli and Kutti Mavelis of our KG section to the grand Onam Sadhya, soulful Onappattu, exciting traditional games and the energetic Vadamvali, every moment was filled with laughter, enthusiasm and festive spirit.

Our students immersed themselves in the celebrations and enjoyed every bit of the day, creating beautiful memories to cherish.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION @ IDEAL SNEHAGIRI

A beautiful ambiance filled with patriotic colours, inspiring moments and the spirit of freedom marked our Independence Day Celebration at Ideal Snehagiri.
The celebration began with the flag hoisting by our Principal, Mr. A. N. Vijayanand, followed by his inspiring Independence Day message. Manager Mr. C. K. Sameer delivered the keynote address.
The occasion was graced by Vice Principal Mr. O. Asharaf, Senior Coordinator Ms. B. Sruthi, Junior Coordinator Ms. Ranisha, KG Coordinator Ms. Sabeena, Heavens Principal Ms. Asmila and Fly High HOD Ms. Siyada, who also felicitated the gathering.
The celebrations came alive with a vibrant flash mob, Independence Day dance by our KG students, various competitions, tricolour decorations and sweets distribution.
Our Student Council members — Rahan Masher, Fathima Shafeek, Aysha Zaha, Muhammed Ziyan M. P, Raha Fasil, Aathul Krishna, Dua Juwan Ashad, Afiya Fathima, Aamil S. Hyder & Abdul F**g — actively contributed to the smooth and successful organization of the event.
Adding meaning and pride to the Independence Day celebration, Leen Rua Muhaid (Heavens), Naiha Fathima Mehek and Aysha C (Fly High), and Razin Ali (Grade 6 A) delivered inspiring speeches, filling the occasion with patriotic spirit and youthful voices.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Reshma, Programme Convenor.

A Total Solar Eclipse will occur on Wednesday, 12 August 2026.

During a solar eclipse, the Moon passes directly between the Sun and Earth, temporarily blocking the Sun’s light.

Visibility Details:
1. Where it will be visible: The path of totality passes over Greenland, Iceland, the Atlantic Ocean, Spain, and parts of northern Russia.
2. Partial Eclipse: A partial eclipse will be visible in parts of Europe, northern Africa, North America, and northern Asia.
3. India: The eclipse will NOT be visible from India at all. Not even a partial eclipse 67b0

Timings in Indian Standard Time (IST):
Since the eclipse is not visible in India, the timings below are for reference only of the global event.
- Eclipse Begins: Around 3:26 PM IST
- Maximum Eclipse: Around 5:47 PM IST
- Eclipse Ends: Around 8:02 PM IST
_Note: These times are for the point of greatest eclipse over the Atlantic Ocean_

Safety Reminder:
Never look directly at the Sun, even during an eclipse, without ISO-certified solar viewing glasses or proper solar filters. Normal sunglasses, x-rays, or telescopes without filters can cause permanent eye damage.
