🎨 Exploring Positive & Negative Space through Notan Art! ✂️

Our Grade 4 students explored the Japanese art form of Notan, learning how positive and negative spaces can work together to create a balanced and visually engaging artwork.

Through this hands-on activity, students created their own Notan-inspired artworks by cutting and arranging shapes to create an interesting contrast between positive and negative spaces. This activity encouraged creativity, observation, and an understanding of composition.

With devotion in our hearts and joy all around, Podar International School bid a heartfelt farewell to Lord Ganesha through a beautiful and spiritually uplifting Ganesh Visarjan ceremony. 🐘🌺
The celebration was filled with traditional rituals, devotional chants, music, dance, and an atmosphere of togetherness, as students and staff came together to seek Bappa’s blessings and express gratitude for the divine presence that brought positivity, wisdom, and happiness to our school community. 🙏✨
The occasion beautifully reminded us that every beginning has an end, but the blessings of Lord Ganesha remain forever in our hearts. 💫

An important and age-appropriate “Good Touch – Bad Touch” Awareness Session was conducted for our young learners of Grades 1 & 2 at Podar International School , under the guidance of our Respected Principal, Arti Domkulwar Ma’am. 💐
Through engaging activities, simple conversations, and interactive learning, our little ones were sensitised about personal safety, body boundaries, safe and unsafe touches, trusted adults, and the importance of speaking up whenever they feel uncomfortable or unsafe. 🛡️✨
The session encouraged our students to understand that their body belongs to them, they have the right to say “NO”, move away from an uncomfortable situation, and tell a trusted adult without fear. 🌟

With this inspiring thought, the young Eco Nurturers of Podar International School, Washim – Grade III (Rose, Lotus & Lily) proudly celebrated the Culminating Event of their thematic unit “Eco Detectives.” 🔍🌍
