📢Cadaveric Skill Lab Workshop for OBGY Postgraduates
We have organised a simulation-based cadaveric training session exclusively for OBGY postgraduate students.

👩⚕️ Target Learners:
JR1 (1st Year PGs) – Module: Surgical Anatomy of Female Ge***alia
JR3 (3rd Year PGs) – Module: Cervical Punch Biopsy
🔬 Modules & Learning Focus:
1️⃣ Surgical Anatomy of Female Internal & External Ge***al Organs (For JR1) : Cadaver-based identification of uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, v***a, and surrounding pelvic structures. Theoretical reinforcement of pelvic anatomy relevant to OBGY surgeries. Practical exposure to dissection techniques and applied surgical relevance.
2️⃣ Cervical Punch Biopsy (For JR3): Colposcopy-guided cervical biopsy technique. Instrument handling, tissue sampling, biopsy site identification. Applied understanding of histopathology correlation and clinical relevance in pre-invasive cervical disease.
📚 Session Objectives: Bridge anatomy with real-time clinical skills in a cadaveric environment, Enhance precision in diagnostic and surgical decision-making. Introduce cadaveric simulation as a safe, high-impact learning method.
🧠 Structure of Session:10 mins: Introductory briefing and communication strategy, 60 mins: Hands-on skill lab exposure, 20 mins: Feedback, reflection, and clinical integration discussion.
