⚡ Industrial Visit to Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL), Deoli, Wardha ⚡

The Department of Electrical Engineering, Bajaj Institute of Technology (BIT), Wardha organised an industrial visit to Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL), Deoli, Wardha for students of 2nd Year / 3rd Semester. 🏭👨‍🎓👩‍🎓
The visit provided students with valuable practical exposure to the working and operation of 765 kV, 440 kV and 220 kV state-of-the-art substations. ⚡🔌

Students gained insights into:
🔹 Substation working and operational features
🔹 Design aspects of various protection circuits
🔹 Transmission line protection
🔹 Switchyard maintenance of high-voltage substations

The session was facilitated by Mr. Kolte, DGM, PGCIL, Deoli Substation, Wardha. The visit was coordinated by Mrs. Harsha Jain and Mr. Ashutosh Joshi under the guidance of Dr. Harsh*t Dalvi, HoD, Department of Electrical Engineering. 👏

Freedom March | August 15, 2026 🇮🇳

Students, Faculty Members and Non-Teaching Staff of Bajaj Institute of Technology (BIT), Wardha actively participated in the Freedom March organised by Shiksha Mandal, Wardha for all its institutions on the occasion of Independence Day.

The march, from Bajaj College of Science, Wardha to Bapu Kuti, Sevagram was a peaceful and disciplined expression of our commitment to freedom, constitutional values and the spirit of our Republic.

🎉 ASSET-2026: A Historic Milestone for BIT Wardha! 🌍📚

Shiksha Mandal's Bajaj Institute of Technology (BIT), Wardha proudly created history by successfully organizing its first International Conference on Advancements in Science, Sustainability, Engineering & Technology (ASSET-2026) on 23rd & 24th July 2026, in academic collaboration with Synergy Minds, Malaysia.

The conference was inaugurated by Dr. S. K. Singh, Chief Scientist, CSIR–Central Building Research Institute (CBRI), Roorkee, in the esteemed presence of Shri Sanjay Bhargava, Chairman, Shiksha Mandal; Dr. Narendra Kanhe, Principal, BIT Wardha; and Conference Convenors Dr. Prathik Kulkarni and Dr. Roshan Marode.

🎓 Bajaj Institute of Technology (BIT), Wardha, through the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in association with the IPR Cell, successfully organized a One-Day Seminar on "IPR for Academics" on 6th July 2026 for faculty members.

👨‍🏫 The seminar was conducted by Adv. Swapnil Gawande, Intellectual Property Rights Attorney and Founder & Director, BLI Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., who shared valuable insights on patents 📜, copyrights ©️, industrial designs, research commercialization 🚀, institutional IPR policies 🏛️, and the importance of Intellectual Property Rights in academic research and innovation 💡.

👥 A total of 40 faculty members actively participated in the interactive session, gaining practical knowledge on protecting research outcomes and transforming innovative ideas into valuable intellectual assets. 🌟

🎤 Dr. Narendra Kanhe, Principal, BIT Wardha, emphasized the growing importance of Intellectual Property Rights in higher education and encouraged faculty members to undertake quality research and protect their innovations. 📖🔬

🌸 Dr. Snehal Pachpor, IQAC Coordinator, welcomed the resource person and highlighted his expertise in the field of IPR. Dr. Pawan Chandak, Faculty In-charge, Pre-Incubation Cell & Member, IPR Cell, motivated participants to seek guidance from the institute's IPR Cell for protecting their innovations and intellectual creations.

✈️ Indian Air Force Career Awareness Drive at BIT Wardha 🇮🇳

Bajaj Institute of Technology (BIT), Wardha, in association with Wardha Youth Fest, proudly hosted the Indian Air Force Promotion Campaign & Induction Publicity Exhibition Vehicle (IPEV) Road Drive, inspiring over 550 students to explore prestigious career opportunities in the Defence Services.

The programme was graced by Shri Sanjay Bhargava, Chairman, Shiksha Mandal, Wardha and Dr. Narendra Kanhe, Principal, BIT Wardha. Students were inspired by an enlightening career guidance session delivered by Flight Lieutenant Gurjeet Singh Bhullar, who shared valuable insights into life and career opportunities in the Indian Air Force.

Participants also explored the Induction Publicity Exhibition Vehicle (IPEV) featuring cutting-edge aviation technology, Air Force equipment and an exciting fighter aircraft cockpit simulator, offering a unique glimpse into the world of military aviation.

The event was successfully coordinated by Mr. Santosh Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, with Mr. Nitin Ghode, Assistant Professor in Physical Education & Sports, serving as Co-Coordinator, along with the dedicated support of student volunteers.

🌿🌎 BIT Wardha Organizes Awareness Programme on Eco-Care and Disaster Management 🌎🌿

Bajaj Institute of Technology (BIT), Wardha, through its Energy and Environment Cell, in collaboration with the Scientists, Engineers and Architects (SEA) Wing of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris, successfully organized an Awareness Programme on Eco-Care and Disaster Management.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 100 students, faculty members and staff, promoting awareness about environmental conservation, sustainable living, disaster preparedness and value-based living. 🌱♻️🌍

The expert sessions were delivered by Shri Mohanbhai Singhal (Chief, SEA Wing & Former Superintending Engineer, ONGC), Shri Mahesh Bhai, Sister B.K. Tarika and Sister Madhu from Brahma Kumaris. Sister B.K. Tarika guided a meditation session 🧘‍♀️, while Shri Mahesh Bhai administered a pledge 🌳 to protect the environment, plant trees and control pollution.

The dignitaries were welcomed by Dr. Narendra Kanhe, Principal, BIT Wardha, who encouraged students to become responsible environmental stewards and active contributors towards a sustainable future. 🌍💚
