Greetings from DPS Warangal!

Delhi Public School, Warangal celebrated Telangana Formation Day on 2nd June 2026 with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The programme commenced with a welcome address, followed by the Flag Unfurling Ceremony by the President of DPS Warangal, Shri Raji Reddy Garu, and the National Anthem.

The celebrations featured Shloka chanting, speeches in English and Telugu, and a melodious rendition of “Jaya Jayahe Telangana,” highlighting the rich culture and heritage of the state. In his address, Shri Raji Reddy Garu recalled the sacrifices made during the Telangana Movement and emphasized the responsibility of every citizen towards the state's progress and development.

The event also included cultural performances such as the Telangana folk song “Nageti Sallalla,” a group dance, and a skit depicting the Telangana Movement. The gathering was further enriched by the address of Principal Shri Rama Mohan Reddy Garu, who spoke about preserving Telangana’s heritage while striving for excellence and growth.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks. The celebration served as a meaningful tribute to Telangana’s journey and inspired everyone to contribute towards its continued progress and prosperity.

Our student Kumari Rondla Daksha Reddy has been awarded the prestigious CCRT Cultural Talent Search Scholarship (2025–2027) by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

A passionate Kuchipudi dancer Daksha’s dedication, discipline, and talent have earned her this national recognition through a rigorous selection process.
