Medical Check-up Camp organized at Markandey Podar Learn Wani
A comprehensive healthcare camp was organized at Markandey Podar Learn School, with the aim of promoting health awareness and providing essential medical services to students.
A team of eminent medical professionals including Dr. Akshay Tughnayat , Dr. Lalit Lanjewar ,Dr.Puja Kale, Dr. Amol Lonare rendered their services during the camp. Namish Kale, medicine dealer was prominently present during the camp.
The team of doctors was welcomed by Rahul Sunkurwar , secretary of the school and by Bhushan Alone, the Principal by offering bouquet and memento.
The up camp successfully promoted wellness by offering medicals check-ups on eyes, dental, vision and health education to students.
The doctors had an interactive session also with students on personal hygiene balanced diet, adolescence education etc.
The teaching and non-teaching members of the school strove hard for the successful organisation of the camp.
Ramesh Sunurwar, President of the school congratulated the staff members for the successful organisation of the camp.

December 22, 2025 — Markandey Podar Learn School celebrated National Mathematics Day to honor the 138th birth anniversary of the legendary Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. The celebration aimed to promote mathematical awareness and remove "math phobia" among students through interactive and creative activities.

Student Presentations & Shape Information

"Fun with Shapes" (Std I & II): Youngest learners identified basic shapes (circles, squares, triangles) and created imaginative models, such as transport vehicles and clocks, using 2D and 3D cutouts.

Tangram & Spatial Awareness: Students from middle classes participated in Tangram Activities, forming various animal and human figures from seven specific geometric pieces to enhance their spatial reasoning.

The celebration successfully transformed mathematics from a textbook subject into a joyful experience, encouraging students to see the "magic" in numbers and shapes.

Pola Celebrated at Markandey Podar Learn School, Wani

Markandey Podar Learn School celebrated Pola with great fervour and faith. The event started with Nandi Poojan by the Principal. The Pre- primary kids came in traditional attires with their artistically decorated wooden ox models.

On this occasion students of Grade 7 presented a grain expo and intro wherein they presented the benefits of some rare grains like, oats, ragi, millets, etc. and thanked farmers for growing these grains in their farms. They appealed the gathering to refrain from fast food and junk food and use healthy food grown by farmers.
Speaking on this occasion Principal, Bhushan Alone, emphasized the cultural importance of respecting farmers and cattle. He highlighted the strong bond between humans, animals, and nature, emphasizing the importance of sustainable living.

The event concluded with distribution of sweets to the kids.
The school President Ramesh Sunkurwar and the Secretary Rahul Sunkurwar appreciated the efforts of the school team.

Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebrated at Markandey Podar Learn School, Wani

Kargil Vijay Diwas was Celebrated at Markandey Podar Learn School, Wani to pay tribute to Kargil Martyrs. The program began with an inspiring speech by Trusha Patil from Grade fifth about the courage and sacrifices of our soldiers during Kargil War. A heart-touching skit was presented by students of Grade fifth. The concluding speech by students of Grade fifth encouraged everyone to honour our martyrs by living with honesty, discipline, and unity.
Ramesh Sunkurwar, the Chairman of the school congratulated students and staff for their presentation. Rahul Sunkurwar, the Secretary of the school and Bhushan Alone, the Principal of the school were prominently present on the occasion.
The programme was compered by Yadnesh Nagpure from Grade eighth. The programme concluded with Vande Mataram.
