REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION
“A NATION’S CULTURE RESIDES IN THE HEARTS AND IN THE SOUL OF ITS PEOPLE.”
Republic day celebrations took place with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm at EuroSchool ICSE Wakad on Wednesday,25th January 2023.
As a part of the Republic day celebration, our little ones took part in the Inter-Class Competition- Youth Icons. Children passionately spoke about their favourite youth Icon. The activity not only motivated them but also inspired them to be ardent learners. It was simply adorable to watch them perform so confidently.
This day is remarkable and historical to remember the golden heritage of our country and feel proud to be a part of this great land! Our kiddos celebrated the day with great enthusiasm honouring the constitution of India.

MAKAR SANKRANTI CELEBRATION!!!!!!!!!

The festival of Makar Sankranti was celebrated by our Euro Tiny Tots on 13th January 2023 as they buzzed with enthusiasm in their traditional attire.

The significance of Makara Sankranti, was explained with a presentation. The kite-making activity was one of the major attractions enjoyed by everyone. It was a sight to behold as the children made beautiful kites.

Sankranti celebrations cannot possibly be deemed complete without sharing ‘tilgul’ , Children relished the Til Gud (sweets) delicacies and greeted Happy Makar Sankranti to everyone.

MATH LAB - FUN with Number Names

The Number Maze was a great opportunity to learn and experience numbers. Learning to count, identify numbers, and understand quantity are a few of the essential concepts. Repeated experiences build understanding and identification of numbers. These experiences help expand knowledge and learn new ideas. A strong number sense is vital for future understanding of more complex math topics.

The Number maze was a great opportunity for our Eurosenior kids to order, count, identify and go for it! The students benefited from seeing numbers in natural, fluid ways.

The Sporting extravaganza commenced with our adorable tiny tots swinging their colorful pom-poms and swaying to the tunes of the music, which was followed by warm-up exercises by our Eurostars
Euro League Day was filled with enthusiasm and spirit for all Pre-primary students as they participated in innovative sports that enhance physical development and mental agility.
The sunshine, great team spirit, and excitement of the field and track combined to create a brilliant atmosphere. The kiddos competed in various races The Carrot chasers, Pirates on the run, Avengers race, Chefs on the Run and School Trail which tested their grit and determination.
At EuroSchool, Wakad every child is a winner having imbibed the spirit of leadership, sharing, and team spirit.

BROWNY BROWN DAY --------Full of high spirits, the Pre Primary wing celebrated Browny Brown Day on 25th November 2022. Students and teachers came dressed up in brown attire. The fascination of the kids knew no bounds when they created the brown bracelet with cut-outs of their favourite teddy bear. Tiny tots enjoyed their yummy brown muffins, chocolates , brown bread sandwiches, cookies, chocos, jaggery, almonds and walnuts during the snack break. Children enjoyed brown day visuals and had a fun filled day.

Culmination - Speech & Drama by Helen O'Grady

Drama helps children express themselves creatively. Our young budding actors performed in front of the audience with great confidence, by experiencing many different situations for the first time. This presentation gave them the chance to play characters that must face situations they never experienced in real life.
On Saturday, 19th Nov. parents were invited to witness what their children have learned in their Aspire Elevate classes of Speech & Drama.

GREY DAY Celebration!!!!!!
Grey is a colour of neutrality and balance. In order to emphasize the importance of colour Grey, the Pre-Primary wing celebrated the colour Grey Day with great enthusiasm. Children came dressed in Grey and as part of the celebration, kids carried their favourite grey toy to their Classroom. In the Art attack, our students created their favorite elephant using the finger dabbing technique. The highlight of the day was the kids enjoying solving the maze and helping the baby elephant to reach the Mama Elephant. Students kindled their enthusiasm to the core. All the kids and the teachers together had fun and learning experience.
