The programme was emceed with eloquence and poise by Mr. Javid Hussain Kirmani.
In his address, Mr. Farooq Ahmad Koul, Principal, emphasized the transformative potential of the National Education Policy 2020, which recently completed five years. He reiterated the institution's commitment to realising its objectives and praised the achievements of the NEET qualifiers, academic scholars, and sports champions alike.
Syed Humayun Qaiser, the erudite Chief Guest, delivered a deeply insightful address highlighting the imperative role of education in shaping well-rounded citizens. With the charisma of a seasoned communicator and the gravitas of a cultural custodian, he then conducted a lively and interactive question and answer session with the students. His ability to elucidate complex ideas with lucidity was nothing short of mesmerizing.
In his emotionally stirring address, Mr. Abdul Hameed Mir inspired students to remain committed and patient in their academic and personal journeys. Drawing on the powerful metaphor of the bamboo tree, he explained that during its first five years, the tree remains barely visible above ground as it silently builds a vast and intricate root system beneath the surface. Then, in just six weeks, it suddenly shoots up to 90 feet. This, he emphasized, mirrors the path to greatness, where years of quiet perseverance and foundational growth often precede sudden, remarkable breakthroughs. His message was clear, transformative success is rarely instant, it is the cumulative result of consistent effort, discipline, and inner development over time.
Dr. Ishrat Shakeel, renowned for his eloquence and grounded in Islamic ethics, offered motivational insights to the students, blending spiritual wisdom with contemporary educational principles. His presence invigorated the event with moral clarity and purpose.
The felicitation of the achievers was graciously conducted by Dr. Yaseen Dar, Lecturer, while the vote of thanks was presented with warmth and dignity by Mr. Bashir Sahib, Senior Lecturer.
Among the awardees, Mr. Mohammad Altaf Mir, Senior Assistant, was bestowed the Best Financial Management Award, presented by his former mentor, Mr. Abdul Hameed Mir, adding a sentimental layer of continuity and mentorship to the honour. This ceremonious day stood as a tribute to perseverance, parental support, professional excellence, and pedagogical evolution, a collective reaffirmation of the school’s mission to nurture not just students, but future changemakers.
