A jet aircraft (or simply jet) is an aircraft (nearly always a fixed-wing aircraft) propelled by jet engines. Jet aircraft generally fly much faster than propeller-powered aircraft and at higher altitudes – as high as 10,000–15,000 metres (33,000–49,000 ft).

At these altitudes, jet engines achieve maximum efficiency over long distances. The engines in propeller-powered aircraft achieve their maximum efficiency at much lower altitudes. Some jet aircraft can move faster than sound

A Marketing story by my Dad

In a small village there lived a poor man with torn cloths ,empty stomach and an over grown beard. He used to be a Businessman,he lost all his money when his ship got wrecked later he started living in a hut on a small hill on the outskirts of the village. The poor man never hung his head low as he was confident of himself that he will be into business again,he used to do odd jobs for others to feed himself.

On a fine Monday morning, one of his business rivals called upon him to get his toilet cleaned. His intention was to insult that poor man. After cleaning the toilet he was not given money, instead his rival gave him a dead rat and laughed at him.He took that rat smiled and left that place. His heart burned and woke-up the businessman instinct in him.He wanted to start with that dead rat in his hand.

He went to a shop-keeper who is having a pet cat and traded the dead rat for a small bag of nuts. He took the nuts and stood under a tree on the way to forest.there he traded the nuts with koolies for some wood.He sold the wood in market and made a little money. He continued to do Odd jobs and used to save some more.He bought wood every day and stored it in a dry area of his hut gradually the hut was completely occupied by the wooden logs.People laughed at him on seeing that, they thought he was wasting money on wood.

Summer ended and it started raining heavily. There was water everywhere.he covered his wooden logs and protected them from rain.He slept in the temple during the whole rainy season, daring the rain and heavy winds. Then came winter,it was snowing all over.People started wearing heavy woollen clothes to keep themselves warm.

The poor man uncovered the dry wooden logs and brought them to the market.Since it was winter and dry wood was not available to the people, the logs got sold within minutes. The poor man earned a lot of money. With that money he started selling hot food items on cold mornings and evenings and made huge profits.By the time spring came his business was at a good pace, then he started lending money, sold fruit juices and ice creams in summer.

This rainy season couldnt bother him as he had his own house. He expanded his business by selling gold, metals, food items etc. He came up with a fresh idea time to time.He never had to do odd jobs again in his life.He was the richest person in that state by the time he died.
