Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh invites applications for Ph.D. admissions in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication. Candidates with a Master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication are eligible to apply. Interested applicants can register online through the Samarth Portal https://ctuapadm.samarth.edu.in/ by visiting www.ctuap.ac.in. The online application process begins on 8th August 2025 and the last date for submission is 8th September 2025. The entrance examination will be held on 20th September 2025. On the occasion of World Photography Day on 19th August 2025, the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, in collaboration with the Department of Social Work at Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh is organizing a seminar on “Photojournalism for Resilient Communities.” The session will be graced by Prof. Bala Nikku from Thompson Rivers University, Canada, who will address the students and share insights on the power of photojournalism in documenting resilience, inspiring change, and strengthening communities.
