Grateful to have witnessed strong student leadership and collaboration at the ACM India Chapter Summit 2025, hosted at SVKM’s NMIMS Indore, centered on
“Human–AI Partnership: Shaping Human Capital for an AI Future.”
The two-day summit brought together ACM student and professional chapters from across India, fostering learning, collaboration, and the exchange of impactful ideas.
Summit highlights included:
• Keynote address by Prof. Sathis Kumar Ganesan
• ACM-W India initiatives by Prof. Geethanjali Kale
• Best practices shared by ACM India award-winning chapters
• Oracle Academy course introduction by Ms. Anuradha Sharma
• Insightful discussions on Testing Agentic AI, Human–AI Partnership, and Activity-Based Funding (ABF)
As part of the ABF session, representatives from the KCT ACM Student Chapter presented a budget proposal for a Digital Safety and Cyber Hygiene Awareness initiative, outlining its scope, ex*****on strategy, and societal impact—reflecting ACM’s commitment to ethical and responsible computing.
The summit reaffirmed how ACM chapters continue to empower students, promote inclusive innovation, and prepare future-ready human capital in an AI-driven world.
