🦚✨ Janmashtami Celebration at Lord’s International School ✨🦚

Today, Lord’s International School celebrated the divine festival of Janmashtami with great enthusiasm, devotion and joy. 💙🦚

This year, our celebration revolved around the beautiful and meaningful Mor Pankh (Peacock Feather), an iconic symbol associated with Lord Krishna.

The students were introduced to the significance of the peacock feather in Krishna’s life. It represents beauty, humility, purity, compassion and harmony with nature. Just as the peacock feather has many colours coming together beautifully, it reminds us that diversity makes life more beautiful.

Through various activities, performances and creative presentations, our children explored why Lord Krishna is traditionally depicted wearing a peacock feather and understood the values and teachings behind this divine symbol.

🌸 From colourful Krishna-themed activities to beautiful performances, the entire school came alive with the spirit of Krishna!

The celebration was not merely about dressing up as Kanha and Radha Rani, but about helping children understand Krishna’s values of love, kindness, friendship, courage and righteousness.
