Demise of Sushma Swaraj ji, one of the greatest politician of this century, was heart broking. Serving people from the very young age, she dedicated her entire life for public service. Graduated from Punjab University in Law, she practiced as an advocate in Supreme Court. She entered into politics at a very young age and from there started her successful career with a service oriented charisma. Being a three time MLA and seven times MP, she served country from every bit of her life.
Her achievements:
age of 25, she became cabinet minister in Govt.of Harayana.
age of 27, she became state president for Janata party-Harayana.
female spokesperson of a National political party.
's first female Chief Minister(Delhi), Union Cabinet minister, General Secretary, Spokesperson and Minister of External affairs.
was only 2nd full time female External affairs minister after Indira Gandhi.
was the only female MP honoured with Outstanding Parliamentarian award.
held many union portfolios - Information&Broadcasting, Telecommunication, Ministry of Health, family welfare, Parliamentary affairs and Ministry of External affairs.
replaced L.K.Advani as the Leader of Opposition in the 15th Loksabha and rose her voice against ruling UPA govt from the floor of house. Her tactical debated reasoning of government policies finally brought BJP led NDA to form Govt in 2014.
It was really hard to digest her demise. There is a ton to learn from her career for the future generations.
