🧘‍♀️🌿 Celebrating the 12th International Day of Yoga 2026 🌿🧘‍♂️

As part of Yoga Week Celebrations, Little Angels School, MVP Colony, Visakhapatnam, organized a special Yoga Workshop for Teacher & Student Wellness.

The session was led by Dr. Jayalakshmi, Yoga Instructor, and focused on simple yoga practices, pranayama, meditation, simple chair and desk friendly yoga practices, stress management, student wellness activities like Quick Reset Exercises , Brain Breaks and Mindful Awareness practices that promote physical and mental well-being of teachers and students.

The workshop was graced by Principal Mrs. Indu Malini and Headmistress Mrs. Rama Devi and witnessed enthusiastic participation from 100 teachers from our City and Steel Plant campuses.

Under the guidance of our PETs — Mr. Appa Rao, Mrs. Veena, and Miss Bethseba — the workshop inspired teachers to embrace yoga as a way of life and integrate wellness practices into their classrooms.

💙 Building Stronger Connections, Creating Happier Classrooms
The Counselling Cell of Little Angels School recently conducted an insightful workshop on Student Behavior and Emotional Well-Being for teachers from our MVP Colony and Ukkunagaram campuses. The session was led by Mrs. Jahnavi Peddireddy, School Counsellor, who shared valuable insights into understanding students beyond their actions and recognizing that behaviour is often a reflection of emotions, experiences and individual challenges.
Through engaging discussions and practical examples, teachers explored effective ways to identify emotional needs, encourage positive behavior, and build stronger student-teacher relationships through empathy, active listening and meaningful communication.
A key focus of the workshop was fostering emotional intelligence and creating classrooms where every child feels safe, respected, understood, and empowered to learn. Through real-life case studies, interactive activities and collaborative discussions, educators gained practical strategies to support students’ social, emotional and academic growth.

The halls are buzzing, the classrooms are lively, and the smiles are back! 😊

Little Angels School, Ukkunagaram, joyfully welcomed students on the first day of the new academic year. After a refreshing break, our campus came alive once again with excitement, laughter, and the enthusiasm of young minds ready to learn and grow.

Our teachers and staff warmly greeted students, making their return to school a memorable and comfortable experience. Dressed smartly in their uniforms, students stepped into the campus with bright smiles, eager to reconnect with friends, meet their teachers, and embark on a new journey of learning.

Creating Active Learning in the Classroom – Teacher Development Workshop
On 2 June 2026, Little Angels School, MVP Colony, Visakhapatnam, organized an insightful professional development workshop titled “Creating Active Learning in the Classroom,” conducted by Dr. Gurjit Kaur Bhatia under the aegis of Oxford University Press.
Attended by 140 teachers, the session focused on transforming classrooms into vibrant learning spaces where students actively think, explore, collaborate, and apply their knowledge. Through interactive discussions and practical strategies, teachers gained insights into learner-centered pedagogy, activity-based learning, language development, life skills, and 21st-century competencies.
The workshop introduced effective frameworks such as the TSLP Model, Panchakoshi Learning Process, and BARP Approach, helping educators create meaningful and engaging learning experiences for every child.
The session was inspiring, insightful, and filled with practical ideas that will enrich classroom teaching and support the holistic development of our students.
