Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, who earned herself the fond moniker of the Nightingale of B-town, breathed her last today (February 06) at the age of 92. The singer was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital on January 08 after she was diagnosed with COVID-19 and pneumonia.

The later singer's health had recently improved and she had been removed from the ventilator. However, her condition worsened again and she was put on ventilator support and was undergoing aggressive therapy on Saturday (January 05).

An Awareness Program and Mock Drill on Disaster Management was organized by Dept. of Civil Engineering and Dept. of Management Studies during the 2nd Week of December 2021 at BITS Vizag Campus.

The Students were trained in accordance with different drills to be performed incase of any emergency.
