80th Independence Day Celebrations at Little Angels 🇮🇳

“Freedom is the oxygen of the soul.”

Little Angels celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with immense pride, zeal and patriotic spirit.
The celebration began with a warm welcome by our student anchors, followed by floral tributes to the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi.
A proud highlight was the presence of T. Sreshta, School Topper of AISSE 2025–26, as the Student Chief Guest, who had the honour of hoisting the National Flag.
The National Anthem by the school choir was followed by a flag-waving song and a special musical presentation of eight songs representing eight decades of independent India.
Addressing the gathering, Founder & Chairman Shri M. Venumohan encouraged students to become duty-conscious citizens and face challenges positively. Director Shri M. Kranti Kiran inspired them to become strong pillars of the nation and responsible future citizens.

We also gratefully acknowledge Mrs. N. V. Lakshmi Rajyam – former teacher for awarding Merit Scholarships for AISSE toppers.
Merit Scholarships for Annual Examination toppers of Classes 7, 8 & 9, instituted by Mrs. R. V. Vijay Lakshmi – former teacher, were awarded to: K. Jaswitha, K. Laksh*tha, and S. Anvitha.

The celebration reminded us that freedom comes with responsibility and that the future of our nation lies in the hands of responsible, compassionate, and determined young citizens.

Where Badges Become Promises 🎖️

There is a certain quiet that settles over an auditorium just before something meaningful begins. That quiet filled Little Angels School on the morning of 11 August, as students, parents and teachers gathered to witness a new generation of young leaders step forward to embrace responsibility.

The Investiture Ceremony 2026–27 was more than a formal occasion—it was the beginning of a journey.

The ceremony began with a warm welcome by our Class 10 students, followed by a prayer led by the School Choir, setting a solemn and auspicious tone. Then came the much-awaited moment—the Badging Ceremony. As badges and sashes were placed on the newly appointed Student Council Members by the Directors Sri. Kranti Kiran Manga and Smt. Ch. Swathi, each badge became a symbol of trust, responsibility and service.

Then came the promise. During the Oath-taking Ceremony, the young leaders pledged to uphold their duties with sincerity, integrity and commitment.

Addressing the gathering, Director Sri. Kranti Kiran Manga reminded the students that leadership is not merely a title—it is reflected in our actions. He encouraged them to stay grounded, remain accountable, be courageous in their decisions and disciplined in their conduct.

Our Founder & Chairman, Sri. M. Venumohan, encouraged the young leaders to lead by example, uphold integrity, work together, become independent and carry out their responsibilities sincerely. Addressing the parents as well, he emphasised the importance of nurturing strong values at home.

As the School Captains delivered the Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem brought the ceremony to a dignified close, the significance of the moment truly resonated.

Our young leaders stepped forward not simply wearing badges and sashes, but carrying a promise to lead, serve and inspire.
Here’s to leadership that begins with a promise and grows stronger through action. 🌱✨

🎉 From Little Angels School to the United Kingdom! 🎉

Little Angels School, Visakhapatnam, is delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievement of our proud alumna, Swarna Kolagotla (Batch of 2022), on her selection for the prestigious National Cadet Corps (NCC) Youth Exchange Programme (YEP) 2026.

Currently in her 3rd year of B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering at GITAM Deemed to be University, Visakhapatnam, Swarna’s journey began with an NCC ‘A’ Certificate during her school years — a foundation that led her through a rigorous multi-level selection process to the prestigious Republic Day Camp (RDC) 2026 in New Delhi. Recognised for her discipline and drill precision at the RDC, she went on to represent India in the United Kingdom — a true reflection of the dedication and leadership that define her journey as an NCC cadet.

During the RDC, Swarna also had the honour of being part of the Culturals in the PM’s Rally, a proud moment showcasing her talent and spirit before the nation’s leadership.

As part of the Youth Exchange Programme, Swarna had the privilege of visiting the historic Mansion House in the UK, where cadets from participating nations gathered to celebrate international friendship and cultural exchange. The event featured country presentations, colourful cultural performances, and a heartfelt closing ceremony marked by the exchange of mementos — building lasting bonds and strengthening global camaraderie.

From the classrooms of Little Angels School to representing India on the world stage, Swarna’s journey is a shining example for every young Angel to look up to. We are incredibly proud of you, Swarna, and wish you continued success in all your future endeavours.
