We are delighted to share that V. Pavan Karthikeya Chandaka, an esteemed alumnus of Little Angels School from the 2019–20 Class X batch and former Sports Captain, has achieved an exceptional milestone by securing All India Rank 5 in the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination II – 2025 (Flying Branch).

Pavan is all set to join the Air Force Academy at the end of June, embarking on a prestigious journey towards serving the nation through the Indian Air Force.

Reflecting on this proud achievement, Pavan expressed his heartfelt gratitude to his alma mater. During his visit to the school, he met his teachers and spent time with our respected Chairman Sir, whose guidance, encouragement and unwavering support have been a constant source of inspiration throughout his journey.

Creating Active Learning in the Classroom – Teacher Development Workshop

On 2 June 2026, Little Angels School, MVP Colony, Visakhapatnam, organized an insightful professional development workshop titled “Creating Active Learning in the Classroom,” conducted by Dr. Gurjit Kaur Bhatia under the aegis of Oxford University Press.

Attended by 140 teachers, the session focused on transforming classrooms into vibrant learning spaces where students actively think, explore, collaborate, and apply their knowledge. Through interactive discussions and practical strategies, teachers gained insights into learner-centered pedagogy, activity-based learning, language development, life skills, and 21st-century competencies.

The workshop introduced effective frameworks such as the TSLP Model, Panchakoshi Learning Process, and BARP Approach, helping educators create meaningful and engaging learning experiences for every child.

The session was inspiring, insightful, and filled with practical ideas that will enrich classroom teaching and support the holistic development of our students.

Little Angels School celebrated English Language Day with great enthusiasm and spirited participation from students across all classes. The day was thoughtfully designed to promote creativity, communication skills, and a deeper appreciation for the English language.

A Special Assembly was conducted to mark the occasion, commemorating the birth and death anniversary of the legendary playwright William Shakespeare. The assembly began with a soulful prayer by the school choir, followed by an introduction to the significance of the day.

Students took a meaningful pledge to speak in English, read more books, and enhance their grammar and vocabulary. They shared insights into Shakespeare’s life, his remarkable contributions to literature, and presented his timeless quotes that continue to inspire generations.

Our respected Director Smt. Swathi Ma’am emphasized the importance of English as a global language and appreciated the students’ active participation. The Academic Heads encouraged students to develop confidence in their communication and oratory skills.

The day began with an inter-class painting competition, where young minds expressed powerful fire safety messages through art. Their creativity reflected a strong understanding of fire prevention and respect for first responders.

📝 Awareness Essay Writing (Classes 8–10)
Senior students explored “School Safety” through insightful essays, focusing on infrastructure safety, fire-fighting technologies, and the importance of preparedness.

🚨 Live Mock Drill & Practical Training
A hands-on session conducted by the Fire & Safety Department equipped students with real-time emergency response skills. From understanding different classes of fire (A, B, C, D) to learning the correct extinguishing methods, the session was both educational and impactful.
