St. Luke’s student nurses joined the
JDS Hospital team of Doctors, Physiotherapists, and the healthcare team in providing emergency medical support at the National Supercross Championship (MRF MoGrip–FMSCI), held at Indira Priyadarshini Stadium, Visakhapatnam, on February 7th, 2026.

Cancer Awareness Walk – 2026

Students from Smt. Vijaya Luke College of Nursing actively participated in the Cancer Awareness Walk in the presence of Sri Satya Kumar Yadav, Hon’ble Minister of Health, Family Welfare and Medical Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, along with St. Luke’s, and in the esteemed presence of Sri Shanka Brata Bagchi, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Visakhapatnam.

Our students had a wonderful opportunity to attend the 13th International Health Dialogue (IHD) 2026, presented by Apollo Hospitals Group under the theme “Global Voices. One Vision.”

Asia’s largest and most influential healthcare conference, IHD is dedicated to patient safety and healthcare transformation, bringing together global leaders and experts on one powerful platform.

Christmas is a time to share joy and gratitude.
Our student nurses took this meaningful opportunity to visit Government and Corporate Hospitals—where they learn to serve the sick and suffering—and to present Christmas cakes to the medical fraternity.

Our students of Luke’s have been invited to administer the HPV vaccination to girl children of police personnel at the Police Barracks, Visakhapatnam, in the presence of the Commissioner of Police.

The programme, organised by Lions Club Vizag and Chaitanya Sravanthi in collaboration with NATCO Trust, was inaugurated on December 13th, 2025, and will continue on December 14th, 2025.
