An interactive session has been conducted in the department of commerce and management studies, Andhra University as on 26th October 2018.The session is regarding the discussion on the different career opportunities which are available in the corporate sector and what do the recruiters expect from the fellow students.
The speaker has emphasized on the importance of feedback, Goal setting (short term goals and long term goals), Retrospection, introspection, perception and the needs of mentor. She has spoken about the behavioral requirements of the society and the importance of networking. The importance and working of work force management, excelling skills and operations.The session has brought a great influence on the young minds, who are in the field of management.

"National Seminar on Capital Market, Mutual Funds & Career Opportunities"

The Department of Commerce and Management Studies organized one day National Seminar on "Capital Market, Mutual Funds & Career Opportunities". The seminar was inaugurated by Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University, Prof. G. Nageswara Rao. The program was attended by Principal of Arts and Commerce Studies, K. Rama Mohana Rao, professors and students from the department.
The speakers for today's event were:

Principal of Andhra University College of Arts and Commerce, Professor in the Sanskrit Department, K. Gayatri Devi has been appointed the first woman Rector of Andhra University in the nine-decade history of the university.
