First Women's College in North Coastal Andhra started in response to public demand in 1958 at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The College has successfully completed thirty three years of autonomy and has the credit of being one of the First seven colleges in Andhra University area to be granted Autonomy in 1987.
