Swarna Bharathi Indoor Stadium, the vibrant venue and host of a variety of activities is at the center of the city of Visakhapatnam City of Destiny and boasts a number of facilities. Run by GVMC, this is home to a lot of events and continues to attract crowds.
This Arena is used for Badminton coaching, training on a regular basis and VDBA/APBA/BAI events, multiple local tournaments, private leagues like the One Stop 4U Pvt. Ltd. Vizag Badminton League are being held here. It once housed a SAP Badminton Academy in the last decade.
The office of the DSO can be found here too. There's also a gym facility, thanks to the initiative of the Body and Members of the SBBC. Table Tennis Coaching, Lawn Tennis courts can be found within the premises of the Swarna Bharathi Indoor Stadium.
