Reshma Pius is currently the Lead Solution Advisor in Strategy & Transformation practice under Cyber Risk services at Deloitte US-India. She has an industry experience of 7+ years. Prior to her MBA, she worked as a Data Quality Analyst with Nielsen Visual IQ Inc. and as Software Test Engineer with Tata Consultancy Services.

We, on of behalf the entire IIM Visakhapatnam community, wish her all the best for her career ahead.

The sixth Annual Convocation of the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam was held at the Hotel Novotel Varun Beach on Friday, 29th July.

Dr. Naresh Trehan, Chairman and Managing Director of Medanta - The Medicity, gave the convocation address and encouraged the students to follow their passion. The ceremony was graced by Shri Hari S Bhartia, Chairman of the Board of Governors of IIMV, Prof. Chandrasekhar M, Director, IIM Visakhapatnam who congratulated students and their proud parents on this event.

Alumni Committee of IIM Visakhapatnam extends heartiest congratulations to all the 182 students from the flagship programs PGP, PGPEx, and PGP-DGM on their graduation. We are proud and delighted to welcome you to the alumni community and extend best wishes for the new journey you are about to embark upon.

We are pleased to announce the Alumni interaction with our esteem alums to be held on 30th July 2022.

To help our young & talented future managers in starting their MBA journey at IIMV, we are pleased to host the alumni members – Abhishek Jain, Deepti Reddy and Shubham Gupta from PGP batches of 2016-18, 2018-20 and 2019-21 respectively. Mr. Adithya Sannidhi is currently the Assistant Vice President at Barclays. He has an industry experience of 8+ years. Prior to his MBA, he worked as a Design Engineer with Reliance Industries Limited for 4 years . While at IIM Visakhapatnam, he was a Class Representative, member of the SAC and was included in the Director’s Merit List for the year 2017.

Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam organized the Alumni Mumbai Chapter meet on 22nd June 2022 at Goldfinch Hotel Mumbai. We cherished the old times as we talked about the recent happenings with the institute and discussed the engagement activities that would benefit the previous and current batches.
Mr. Somashekara, Alumni Office, extended vote of thanks on behalf of the institute and Alumni Committee to all the alumni for taking out time from their busy schedule and attending the event. We thanked those who couldn't make it but sent their wishes for the success of the meeting.

Mr Prakhar Dave is an alumnus of IIM V PGP 2016-18. He has an immense industry experience of over 7 years in the Operations field. While at IIM Vishakhapatnam, he was a gold medalist and co-ordinator of the Consulting Club.

Mr. Mayank Maria is currently a Practicing Director at Everest Group, a leading global research and advisory firm. He has an industry experience of more than 8 years. Prior to his MBA, he worked as an Analyst with Everest Group. He also worked with ZS Associates as a Business Analytics Associate and The Smart Cube as a Senior Business Analyst. While at IIM Vishakhapatnam, he was a Placement Representative and also a member of SAC.

We are pleased to announce the 4th session of Interacting with your alumni with our esteemed alums which will be held on 19th December 2021.

This time we will be hosting our alumni members - Tanmoy Misra, Unnmalini Boruah from PGP batch 17-19, and Ajinkya Joshi from PGP batch 18-20, who will be sharing their experiences and guiding us to make the right career choices.

Unnmalini is currently working as Strategy Manager for Bosch, Tanmoy is the Product Manager at Aditya Birla Capital and Ajinkya Joshi is a Management trainee at Anand Rathi.

As they come from diverse work backgrounds, this session will provide insider insights to various industry trends.
