Congratulations to the team of 𝑵𝒊𝒌𝒉𝒊𝒍 𝑹𝒆𝒅𝒅𝒚, 𝑷𝒐𝒐𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒎𝒂 𝑬𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊, and 𝑲𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒌𝒂 𝑹𝒐𝒐𝒑𝒂 𝑺𝒓𝒊 batch of 2017-2022 students, on getting shortlisted in 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮.

𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 organised by Ethos, in collaboration with Capricot and Autodesk, was a call for entries to design innovative futuristic mixed-use hubs specifically for towns (Tier 2,3,4 cities), evoking a wholesome life experience while being net zero energy efficient.

Today, our 4th year B.Arch students participated in the "INTACH Heritage Volunteer Training Programme" organised by INTACH Visakhapatnam Chapter under Heritage Education and Communication Service (HECS) in the Geology Department, Andhra University. This programme is aimed to make citizens aware of their role in conservation, preservation of our natural, cultural and living heritage. The workshop also included awareness in conducting heritage walks, caring for monuments, cleanliness drive, heritage listing and other such awareness generating activities.

Our cherished students, teachers, and non-faculty members took part in cleaning up the campus premises yesterday as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan event conducted by our department.

In the seminar conducted on October 11th 2022 on the occasion of World Habitat Day, Prof. G. Viswanadha Kumar and Prof. B. R. Bheemesh Rao has introduced the students to the theme and has shared their views on it. Later on the research scholars Ar. RSS Prabhakar and Ar. Satya Sravani Karuturi has presented their views with a focus on Urban climate change Resilience.
