DREAM by Chandrika
Every burning desire leads to a dream. A dream is the starting point to construct your own world. Once you identify your passion towards creating a unique product/service, then you can start dreaming big in similar lines of interest. No creation never came to be without dreams. Ask any successful person you know if they could have ever achieved anything without having dreams. Always dream big in whatever you do or have the passion towards.
In simple words, dreaming is all about creating a picture/video\movie with your own imagination and watching it multiple times in your mind every single day. The important aspect of the dream is: it has to be very specific as to what you want to achieve. You are the inventor. You are the architect. You are the creator of your own dreams and your imagination is the blueprint of your dream.
Some people think about too many things at one time. For instance, you may want to buy a big house, acquire millions of dollars’ worth of cars, and build a big business, and so on. Being a human being, it is your birthright to have desire to earn the best items available in he world. However, you have to focus on one thing at a time. Once you achieve big dreams, the rest will follow automatically.
Socrates was a Classical Greek philosopher. He is credited as one of the founders of Western Philosophy. He is enigmatic figure known only through the classical accounts of his students. A famous quote from Socrates, “True knowledge exists in knowing that you know nothing.”
Once, a young man asked Socrates the secret of success. Socrates told the young man to meet him near the river he next morning. They met. Socrates asked the young man to walk with him towards the river. When the water got up to their necks, Socrates took the young man by surprise and ducked him into the water. The man struggled to get out but Socrates was strong and kept him there until he started turning blue. The young man struggled hard and finally managed to get out and the first thing he did was to gasp and take a deep breath. Socrates asked, “What was it you wanted the most when you were there?” the young man replied, “I wanted to breath…Air…I wanted air of course.”
Socrates said, “that’s the biggest secret of success. When you have a desire as badly as you wanted air, you will succeed. ”
