Ginga Saroba, a pioneer Capoeira group in Auroville by Prof. Samuka da Índia and his students, under the guidance of Mestre Branco.

Officially created in 2015 as a branch of Ginga Nagô, Ginga Saroba is a Capoeira group based in India. It was started by Samuka da Índia and his students, with the approbation and guidance of Mestre Branco. We work on developing the Capoeira form inherent to each individual in the respect of the tradition and in the understanding of the actual evolution of Capoeira. But also bring awareness about

After a wonderful two weeks of Capoeira with our friends and family from India and abroad it is time to resume classes with a few changes ;)

● ADULT CLASSES (All levels) >> Tuesday & Thursday: 5.30 PM – Deepanam School ATB Hall

● KID CLASSES (Auroville kids & long term volunteers only) >> Monday & Friday: 1.15 PM - Deepanam School ATB Hall

● OPEN RODA (Capoeira Circle) >> First Saturday of each month 5.30PM - Visitor Center - Open to all!!!
