🧘 International Yoga Day 2026

🧘 The resource person commenced the session by explaining the importance of Basic therapeutic exercises of Yoga in Daily life for maintaining physical health, Mental well Being, and inner peace. He demonstrated more than 15 yoga asanas for the students and provided detailed guidance on their Benefits and practice.

🧘 A practical session was also conducted during which the students actively performed the asanas under his supervision. The session is highly beneficial to students to gain valuable knowledge about various yoga postures and their role in promoting a healthy Lifestyle.

📢 Educational Visit to Saveetha College of Nursing

✨ As part of the Academic curriculum, the M.Sc I Year and II Year Students of E.S.College of Nursing visited Saveetha college of Nursing on 19.06.2026 .The visit commenced with the welcome address by Ms. Beautilyn, Professor, Saveetha college of Nursing and presentation about academic programs, Infrastructure facilities, Research, Achievements and various programs was given. Students were then taken on a guided tour of the campus, simulation center, library, laboratories and hospital campus where they observed integrated clinic which is a special initiative in Saveetha hospital.

✨ The visit provided an excellent opportunity for the students to observe Innovative Educational practices and gain exposure to different teaching and learning experiences.

📢 Educational visit to SRISTI Foundation

✨ As part of the academic curriculum, the students of E.S. College of Nursing (Dept. of Child Health Nursing) students visited Sristi Village Foundation on 16.06.2026 to learn about child development, special education, and rehabilitation services. Mr. KarthikeyanGanesan (Founder & Director) explained occupational therapy, individualized learning and inclusive teaching methods; Mrs. Lakshmi Karthikeyan (Joint Director) spoke on developmental defects, early identification, and family-centered care; Mr. Athiruban A (Program Manager) presented the foundation’s history, vision and multidisciplinary approach. Students toured the community, school and rehab units and observed teaching strategies, therapy techniques and community-based initiatives. The visit enhanced their skills in assessment, early detection and holistic, inclusive care for children with disabilities.

📢 World Blood Donors Day Awareness Rally

✨ The IQAC and RRC Unit of E.S. College of Nursing, in collaboration with the Rotary Club, Villupuram organized a World Blood Donors Day Awareness Rally on 15-06-2026 at 8.00 a.m. The rally was conducted at Vikravandi.

✨ The Chief Guest appreciated the initiative and efforts undertaken by the institution and the Rotary Club in promoting public health awareness and fostering a spirit of humanitarian service among the community. He motivated the young students to participate actively in blood donation activities and officially inaugurated the rally at Mariamman Kovil.

✨ The students actively participated in the rally, which started from Mariamman Kovil and proceeded up to Vikravandi Police Station. They effectively spread the message “Donate Blood, Save Lives” by carrying informative placards and raising awareness slogans. The participants highlighted the importance of regular voluntary blood donation and encouraged the public to support this noble cause.

✨ The main objective of the rally was to educate the community on the significance of blood donation, dispel common myths and misconceptions, and motivate individuals to contribute towards maintaining an adequate and safe blood supply for patients in need.
