What a phenomenal start at DSMUN 2026!

Our 12 student delegates representing DPS Vikasnagar made us immensely proud on their very first day. Competing alongside over 400 delegates from 40+ premier schools across India, including The Doon School, Welham Boys School, Welham Girls’ School, Mayo College, St. George’s, The Lawrence and The British School, our students truly stood out.

The confidence, poise, and sharp diplomatic skills they displayed while debating and negotiating in their committees were nothing short of mind-blowing. Their enthusiasm and thorough preparation shone through every speech and caucus session.

Day 1 is over, but we can’t wait to see them make an even bigger impact over the coming days!

🇮🇳 Independence Day Celebration at DPS Vikasnagar

Delhi Public School, Vikasnagar, celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem.
The ceremony brought together students and staff in a spirit of unity, pride and gratitude towards our freedom fighters. The occasion concluded with a renewed commitment to contribute towards a stronger and better India.

The spirit of patriotism and pride filled the campus of Delhi Public School, Vikasnagar as we celebrated Independence Day Week with great enthusiasm and zeal! 🇮🇳
Students from Grades 1–10 participated wholeheartedly in a range of engaging and creative activities, including Tricolour Lunchbox, art and craft activities featuring national symbols, an inspiring documentary on patriotism, and enriching sessions exploring India’s glorious history, diverse culture, and rich heritage.
The week-long celebrations provided our young learners with meaningful opportunities to express their love for the nation while understanding the values of freedom, unity, diversity, and responsibility.
At DPS Vikasnagar, we celebrate the spirit of India by nurturing young minds who are proud of their heritage and inspired to contribute to the nation’s future.

Our Grade V students put innovation into action with their Smart Dustbin Project, designed to automatically segregate wet and dry waste. Through this hands-on STEM activity, students explored how technology can offer practical solutions for responsible waste management while strengthening their creativity, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
A wonderful example of young minds using innovation to make everyday practices smarter and more sustainable.

Voices That Inspired. Arguments That Made an Impact.

The Inter-House English Debate Competition for Grades VI–X at DPS Vikasnagar witnessed an exciting display of intellect, confidence, and eloquence as students from all four houses presented compelling arguments both for and against the given motions.

The spirited rebuttal round highlighted the participants' ability to think critically, respond confidently, and articulate their viewpoints with clarity and conviction. Each speaker showcased exceptional analytical skills, persuasive communication, and remarkable stage presence.

Judged on content, argument, appropriateness of language, delivery, and rebuttal, the competition provided a meaningful platform for students to sharpen their critical thinking, strengthen their public speaking abilities, and express their perspectives with confidence.

Congratulations to all the participants for their outstanding performances and for making the event a true celebration of thoughtful dialogue and healthy competition!

Celebrating World Elephant Day at DPS Vikasnagar!
This World Elephant Day, our students came together to celebrate and learn about one of nature’s most magnificent creatures.
The day featured a special assembly highlighting the importance of elephant conservation, followed by an educational documentary that helped students understand their habitat, behaviour, and the need to protect wildlife.
Adding an adorable touch to the celebrations, our little Pre-Primary learners dressed up with cute elephant headgear, bringing the spirit of these gentle giants to life!
Through joyful learning and meaningful experiences, our young learners were encouraged to love, respect, and protect wildlife.
Every small step towards awareness can make a big difference.
