SAEINDIA Southern Section would like to extend a warm welcome to you to attend this 8th National SAEINDIA Student Convention along with all the Collegiate Club members and participate in all the events scheduled during the 2 days. The convention is being held at Chennai Institute of Technology, Chennai on 11th & 12th October 2013
As part of the convention apart from the qualifying teams participating in the final events, there is much more for all the clubs. We would like to use this opportunity to invite you to participate in these events also at the convention. (No Registration fees )

Club officer’s forum
Club officers will review the progress in the past year and draw up strategies for the coming year. This forum will also see the new student executive council taking charge from the previous council.
Club exhibition
Each Collegiate club is being allocated space. Please use this space to display the activities conducted by your club during the year. This could be in form of posters, demonstrators, presentations, models, paper clippings etc. This is to show case the achievements of students in their clubs
This display is open for all visitors during the 2 days and on the second day a team of judges will select top 5 Clubs based on Activities and Stall aesthetics.
aSOP
This program prepares engineering college students to excel in the industry by teaching an effective problem solving process through an innovative curriculum combining “instruct and demonstrate” and “observe and discover” methods involving industry and academia .
Faculty Advisor Form
Faculty advisors will provide feedback on how to make best use of SAEINDIA for the benefit of students. In addition, Avenues to enhance the credibility of faculty Advisors will be discussed.
Faculty Advisor Forum meeting at Chennai Institute of Technology, Chennai on 11th October 2013 at 5.00 P.M. Max per Club 1 Faculty, ( 1 faculty – Two way 2nd class train fare provided ( Outstation only) by SAEISS & Food, Accommodation provided by CIT, Chennai)
Cultural
A cultural event is being organized on 11th October 2013 evening. Participate, with friends and enjoy the evening

Technology Theatre
Experts from various parts of the world will make presentations on the latest trends in their respective fields. These are live presentations through video conferencing or net-meeting.
Club Presentation
Collegiate clubs will make presentations about their achievements in the past year and their future plan. This is an opportunity for you to present the activities of your club to the dignitaries and participants at the convention. A template to fill the top five activities for the past year and the plan for current year is enclosed.
Top 5 presentations based on club activities and innovation in the plan, selected by our panel, will be rewarded. We request you to make use of this unique opportunity.
