Do you want to participate in Robotics Competitions?
The STEM Makers is inviting students to participate in the Avishkaar League 2026 — an opportunity for children to build, code, innovate and compete at the zonal level and progress towards the Nationals.
Students can choose from exciting challenges including IRC League, Robo Battlegrounds, Code Quest and Makeathon, with categories across grade 1 to grade 12.

These competitions give a chance to apply their STEM learning, work as a team, solve problems, build prototypes and experience the excitement of taking an idea from concept to competition or alternatively build bots that can finish a task fastest in a competition arena.

Hyderabad Zonals – November 14
Team sizes and grade categories vary by competition, details of which are in the attached posters.

Kits to be purchased by the team. One month training starting from 12th October.

The STEM Makers offers custom designed courses in Robotics, coding, mechanical model assembly and specialised training for competitions.

WSRO Nationals at Peddem Indoor Stadium, Mapusa, Goa, on September 26th and 27th -- From the Arena as a mentor to the Judges’ Table.
I had the privilege of judging 17 teams participating in "LEGO Budding Builders" on Day 1 and 15 teams participating in "1Kg LEGO Sumo" on Day 2 of WSRO nationals.
The youngest solo participant for LEGO Budding Builders was 5 years old and it was a learning experience listening about the projects from a kids perspective.
Judging "1kg LEGO Sumo" competition across 40+ matches had many surprises of how differently robots behaved in a competition arena in the presence of opponents.
Judging was an opportunity to step back, observe small details and gain a valuable change in perspective.

From Bhopal to Goa — The STEM Makers Teams Are Heading to WSRO Nationals.

Enriched by the experience of participating in Pune Regionals and determined to make their mark 5 students returned to participate in WSRO Regionals in Bhopal on September 5th 2026.

What an incredible journey for our young Engineers.

The students competed across three exciting categories:

Robo Sprint
Robo Precision
Young Scientist – All STEM

And we are thrilled to celebrate their achievements.

ROBO PRECISION — FIRST PRIZE

Our Robo Precision team delivered an outstanding performance, combining mechanical design, precision and strategy to emerge as the winners.

YOUNG SCIENTIST – ALL STEM — JUDGES CHOICE AWARD.

Our Young Scientist team impressed the judges with their creativity, innovative thinking and approach to solving a STEM challenge.

These achievements have earned our students an opportunity to compete at the WSRO NATIONALS in Goa on 26th & 27th September 2026.

The journey doesn't stop here.

The next few weeks will be filled with more building, testing, redesigning and practice as our students prepare to take their ideas and robots to the national stage.

Special mention of the young Robo Sprint team for their spirited performance, making it to the next round from the qualifiers, even if they lost in the knockouts. Wishing them success in future competitions.

For us at The STEM Makers, the biggest achievement isn't just the trophy.

It's watching students turn:

Seven Young Builders. One Incredible Robotics Journey!

What happens when curiosity meets creativity, engineering and a whole lot of practice?

Young Builders take on the competition arena!

We are incredibly proud of 7 students from The STEM Makers who represented us at the WSRO Regionals 2026 in Pune on 8th August.

Our students competed across three exciting categories:

Junior Robo Race
Our youngest participant, a Grade 3 student, took on the Junior Robo Race and experienced the thrill of competitive robotics.

Blixathon Robo Sprint
Two students from Grades 5 & 6 put their robot design, driving skills, speed and precision to the test.

Blixathon Robo Precision
Four students from Grades 10, 11 & 12 took on the challenging Robo Precision competition.

And what a performance!

Our Robo Precision team secured 3rd position among 35 teams in the preliminary rounds, earning a well-deserved place in the knockout stage!

The team fought hard but eventually lost in the knockouts.

But the real victory was in the journey—from designing mechanisms and building robots to programming, testing, troubleshooting and making improvements over and over again.

Design. Build. Test. Analyse. Improve. Repeat.

That is engineering in action!

More than robots and rankings, these competitions help students develop problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, resilience, decision-making and confidence under pressure.

We are proud of every one of our seven young innovators who stepped onto the competition arena and gave it their best.

A special shout-out to our Robo Precision team for an impressive 3rd-place finish among 35 teams!

The competition may be over, but the learning continues.

Keep building. Keep experimenting. Keep learning. Keep innovating!

On 18 September 2026, EDCC 2026 took over the Aravinda High School CBSE Campus! 🔥

And it wasn't just about winning.

It was about THINKING. BUILDING. TESTING. FAILING. TRYING AGAIN.

✈️ Challenge: Rubber Band Glider

✨ 32 Primary School Teams
🎈 Challenge: Balloon Car

✨ 5 teams for Young Researcher Challenge
🤖 Challenge: Societal Impacts of Artificial Intelligence

Mentoring by KL University Engineering Students

From designing gliders and testing flight to building balloon-powered cars and exploring the impact of AI on society, students experienced what happens when learning moves beyond the textbook.

They didn't just learn concepts.

They used them.

They didn't just get answers.

They asked questions.

They didn't just build once.

They tested, failed, changed and tried again.

Because that's what real learning looks like. 💡

The problem becomes the teacher.

And the goal?

Not just children who know the answers…

But children who are confident enough to ask:

👉 “Why?”
👉 “What if?”
👉 “How can we make it better?”

That's EDCC.

That's experiential learning.
