𝐁𝐈𝐒 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐮𝐳𝐳𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
Bureau of Indian Standards Club of Electronics Engineering, SATI (SCID:4472) organized the Crossword Puzzle competition today for the student club members on the topic ‘Indian Standards on the National Flag
(राष्ट्रीय ध्वज पर भारतीय मानक)'. The quiz competition was conducted as per the guidelines of BIS, Bhopal.
BIS mentor for the Electronics Engineering BIS Club, Dr. Ashutosh Datar, HoD, Electronics, along with BIS Coordinator Dr. Abhishek Jain, awarded certificates and cash prizes to the winners of the competition. Prizes for the first four winners were ₹1500, ₹1000, ₹750, and ₹250 respectively.
The winners of the competition from Electronics Engineering were Sarita Nandan Harsh Raj, EC, III Sem, who secured the first prize with a cash award of ₹1500; Indu Sharma, EC, III Sem, who took the second prize with ₹1000; Krishnanshi Yadav, EC, III Sem, who won the third prize with ₹750; and Neetesh Raikwar, EC, III Sem, who received a consolation prize of ₹250.
On this occasion, our Hon’ble Director, Dr. Y. K. Jain, appreciated the initiative and stated that such technical activities play a vital role in enhancing students’ practical knowledge, analytical thinking, and awareness of standards. He encouraged students to actively participate in such competitions to strengthen their technical competencies and prepare for professional challenges.
Our Hon'ble Secretary, MJES, Dr. Laxmikant Markhedkar also conveyed their heartiest congratulations to the winners.
