Science paired with research is the way to solve the current problems and innovate our current lifestyle.

NSABS(National Symposium of Advances in Basic Sciences) served as a tool to the students for building knowledge and facilitate learning, and Means to Find, Gauge and Seize all opportunities for the development of tomorrow.

Our speakers were Dr. Bramhananda Rao and Prof. Akella Sivaramakrishnan.
The conference ended on a very positive and a thoughtful note leaving every participant with an urge and curiosity to grow in the field of science.

SIGMA XI, a research based chapter of VIT Vellore in collaboration with SACSE (Society for Advances in Chemical Sciences and Education) and School of Advanced Sciences (SAS) presents to you The National Symposium on Advances in Basic Sciences (NSABS). NSABS is an informative, captivating symposium for exploration and analysis in all basic sciences. The speakers for the symposium, Dr. Akella Sivaramakrishna, Professor (Department of Chemistry) at VIT Vellore, and Dr. C.V.S Brahmmananda Rao, a renowned member of Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, are both extremely talented individuals contributing a plethora of resources and knowledge towards science and its development in our society. NSABS will illustrate distributed computing in all basic sciences and give a platform to all research enthusiasts to present their ideas that could contribute to the science of tomorrow.
