The Worldwide Walk 4 Trees, birthday fundraisers & memberships support our tree nursery where we raise trees from seed. Every year from June until November (tree planting season) we donate fruit trees to local farmers. Today we are at 14800 trees donated to 198 farmers! This program gives hope to local farmers in Tamil Nadu!

Green Sakthi was founded by Sri Sakthi Amma in 1998 in the rural village of Thirumalaikodi, Tamil Nadu, India.

The initiative was established to reforest and restore the arid Kailasa Giri Hills and surrounding areas, focusing on environmental sustainability and community empowerment.

Green Sakthi has always run on the generous donations of our members. Make a heartfelt difference from the ground up by becoming a member via the link in our page bio 🧡
