So, doomsday did not quite happen yet and most of us already expected that it wouldn't. Apart from the 'end of the world' there were other supposedly 'scientific events' that were scheduled for today, such as the 'Planetary alignment' and 'Geomagnetic reversal (often incorrectly referred to as 'pole shift' by proponents of doomsday)'. Just to clarify, neither will happen today!

With the third and final day coming to an end, the months of strenuous effort that went into making SEDSIC '12 garnered us such an amazing response from the participants and the delegates, we are bursting with pride and yet humbled by hard work put in by each individual. Conveners, Secretaries, Organisers, Coordinators and the most of all the Volunteers -- Salutes!
