Institute of Chartered Accountants of India: Institute of Chartered Accountant of India has been established under the Charted Accountants Act, 1949, enacted by the Parliament to regulate the profession of Charted Accountants. Vellore Branch profile:
The Vellore Branch of Southern India Regional Council of Institute of Chartered Accountant of India was set up on 30.08.1987 and inaugurated by CA.

The branch was started with 125 members and at present it has more than 200 members. Out of it almost 130 members are in practice, out of 200 members the branch is having 15 female members. The branch serves mainly for three important districts namely Vellore District, Tiruvannamalai District & Kancheepuram District.

State level conference for CA students at TIRUPATHI on 8th & 9th of December 2013.

Students are invited to contribute papers for presentation (in MS - Word Format, font 12 & 1500 to 2000 words ) on topics of the Technical - Sessions and submit for approval a soft copy of the Paper along with as canned passport size photograph, Regn No., Course pursuing, complete postal address, Bio - Data including your experience in previous paper presentations, if any, Mobile & Landline numbers and e-mail ID at “[email protected]” by 25/11/2013 and also a hard copy of the same along with Student's Photograph (with his/her name on the back of the photograph), and above details be also sent to the Tirupati Branch.

Students interested to participate in the cultural programme may register before 30/11/2013 at the Branch.
