Immunopathology Lab is pleased to share the news of our latest review article titled "Unleashing the pathological imprinting of cancer in autoimmunity: Is ZEB1 the answer?" , in the journal, Life Sciences.

The curious attempt by the authors, to untwine the therapeutic implications of ZEB1 targeting in settings by extrapolating the relevant signaling mechanisms in cancer biology, offers for a inquisitee review.

We congratulate the authors Snigdha Samarpita and Rithvik Arulkumaran on presenting a detailed prospective for ZEB1 in autoimmune phenotypes. As always, this wouldn't be possible if not for the constant motivation and unwavering support of our Professor, Dr. Mahaboobkhan Rasool.

We welcome the scientific community to offer their views on the interesting review!

The Immunopathology lab recognises the importance of translational research in a world where constant innovation is a pre-requisite to sustain the emerging needs of humanity!

Over the past few years we have taken concentrated efforts to generate intellectual property that has potentially led to product development of formulations used for and .

We are glad to share the news of our new patent filing in collaboration with Yonsei University, South Korea. The patent seconds the filing of skin care composition for anti-psoriatic activity (application no.202341028348) filed earlier this year. On this occasion, we would also like to extend our to Dr. Snigdha Samarpita , Rithvik Arulkumaran ,and to, our collaborators at Yonsei University for filing of two successfull .

With this, we embark on a new journey that can transcend our pre-clinical evaluations into clinics! As always, we are gratified by the guidance of our mentor, Dr. Mahaboobkhan Rasool, for his constant support and inspiration.

Majoon chobchini hailed as “PD-L1 checkpoint molecule escalator” against Th17-dendritic cell war in rheumatoid arthritis.

As usual Majoon chobchini is explicated as a simple traditional Unani medicine. Hence, integrating the drug into the health care is difficult due to paucity of scientific validation. Also, the struggle for a good research publication continues.

Under the purview of the prevailing challenges, we are elated and pleased to inform you that has been continuously in the frontline to popularize medicines among medical professionals and researchers through publications in newspaper and immunology core journals. We again proved it!!

Here come’s our first publication of the year!! And this time, we are the first to drug the PD-L1 immune checkpoint molecule against Th17-dendritic cell axis in rheumatoid arthritis. This decodes a new therapeutic angle of majoon chobchini against rheumatoid arthritis.

We take this opportunity to extend our special accolades to Dr. Snigdha Samarpita for meticulously carrying out the work and a huge shout out to our beloved professor Dr. Mahaboobkhan Rasool for his unparalleled inputs, esteemed support and invaluable guidance at all times!

We thank the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India for continuous support and research funding.

Teaching is a very noble profession. It is the spirit, in the teachers like you, that relinquish on us and helps each of us to enlighten our society together.

Thank You, for helping us acquire immunity against fear of beginning a bright research career;
Thank You, for helping us to embrace the scientific temperament;
Thank You, for helping us evolve as shining researchers;
Thanks for inspiring us!!

It is not easy to care and guide us,
It's not easy to stand beside us in all ups and down,
It's not easy to be selfless,
We understand, it's difficult!

Yet you've done it with much grace and compassion, you've been an epitome of strength and courage, for so many years that our has achieved stupendous records and continues to do so.

The best time to plant the smallest seed of success was 10 years ago. The second best time is now!!

The success vibes of Dr. Ganesan Ramamoorthi inspires us to stay focused - A greatest glory into the success diaries of

Dr. R. Ganesan joined Immunopathology Lab in the year 2014 as a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the project. During his tenure, he bagged several publications in reputed core journals and fabricated a benchmark in Interleukin-17 research in the lab. In 2017, he made us feel proud as he joined as a postdoctoral candidate at Moffitt Cancer Center , Florida, USA. After 4.5 years of his journey, he is now a eminent research at MOFFITT Cancer Centre and is designated to supervise and co-mentor all subordinates.

As Dr. Ganesan says - "You are the creator of your own destiny"; he preached what he said!!

At this moment, we proudly congratulate you for your breakthrough success and wish you many more bigger accomplishments in your research journey.
