Greetings everyone,

Alumni association and Gctportal are going to conduct a summer internship program for GCT students. Students belonging to second and third years can participate. It is a paid internship. Certificates will also be issued.

You will be needed to develop the following 3 modules:
1. Enhancement of alumni scholarship module in gctportal
2. Student mobile app
3. Staff mobile app

Basic Skillset required:
1. HTML
2. CSS
3. JavaScript

Extra skillset:
You will be provided time to learn the following technologies if you are not familiar with these
1. python, Django for module 1
2. React-native for module 2 and 3

Now you'll be able to view your internal marks by visiting gctportal.com/my_internal_marks/

You can approve your internal marks from wherever you are. This approval will be reflected in the last column of final internal report generated by staff.

You'll be asked to provide feedback for each subject before each approval.

Now you can receive notifications from gctportal.com via your mobile phone.

You can subscribe to notifications by just logging into gctportal through your mobile browser (as of now chrome and firefox are supported)

You' ll receive the following notifications:

For students:
* Attendance markings
* Onduty grants
* Internal marks alerts

For staffs:
* Attendance re-enable requests
* Re-enable approved
* Onduty requests

We'll be adding more notifications in future.
So we kindly request everyone to subscribe to gctportal notifications.
