St. Little Teresas High School Vazhakulam Founded on 1950 By CMC sisters, It Is One Of The Best School In The Vazhakulam... ST. For full filling this desire Rt. Rev. But it became Successful only in 1927.

Little Teresa's high school was established as a result of the strong desire of the native people of Vazhakulam.Once it was a horrible dense forest which was known by the name "Vasuri Hill" the natives had a strong desire to established a " A Convent " and a school for girls" in Vazhakulam. Mar Louis Pazhayapparambil laid the foundations for the new convent in 1914. Before that on 18th May 1926,

the new L.P. School was started in the Name of St. Little Teresa; Convents own property. It was constructed under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Paul Vadakkumcheri. In the beginning the Sisters of CMC Convent Arakuzha, were coming here for teaching. The hardworking and service minded attitude of the sisters helped more for the development of the school. In 1931, this Institution lifted up to Malayalam middle School. In 1947 it was again uplifted to an English Middle school. In 1950, it became a high school. The School was separated us L. P. and H. S in Accordance with the government rule in 1962 . The convent hold the full control and the responsibility over the school however the parish Preast acted as a local Manager. After the structuring of the Corporate educational Agency of Kothamangalam in 1966, the appointments weare done by this agency. During the academic year 2005-2006 it became a mixed school; and it was known by the name ST. Little Teresa's High School. form the beginning now itself the CMC Sisters were the leading figures of the school �. Two or Three years some teachers headed the institution because of the shortage of sisters. The school is situated in the Convents own property and compound of the convent itself. So the school is known by the name "convent school". On the academic year of 2021-22 the school was handed back to the manager of CMC Pavanathma Convent by the kothamangalam Diocese. The old school was demolished and a new well structured buliding construction is in its final stage. Under the leadership of the
Headmistress Sr. Merin CMC our institution is gaining a marvelous achievement in every spere of education...
